Actually neither, both are alright, it depends on where you visit. Houston definitely has its awesome parts, Birmingham they hung the governor, so it can t be that bad. When it comes to ugly cities if you were going for one in Texas in would probably be in Cactus country, far west Texas. Alabama is just another fine southern state, we love all of them.

In general, Birmingham but Houston has some really rough seedy areas and a lot of Houston has old outdated infrastructure, but they also some modern areas in Houston. They re both not as good as they could be and have a lot of areas that need to be cleaned up yet such areas are generally ignored by the local governments.

Not sure which is worse ? Birmigham had it s days..^^ I think Birmingham has become ugly,not that it ever was pretty either. It just seems dead and run down and somewhat ghostly.Let s say both..

Where do most of the kids work in Ocean City, Maryland? -

I m thinking of spending the summer in Ocean City working. I was wondering where most of the kids work in town so I could make some friends while I m there.

a lot of them work at any of the restaurants or on the boardwalk. they have so many seasonal jobs there, finding one could be easy. I know they have an exchange program with some country in europe for a lot of the carnival games, but some of the others, and the restaurants/small stores will have openings.

Cheap rent and Safe area near Tampa? -

My family is planning on moving near Tampa pretty soon, but we don t want to make the move if the area isn t safe enough. We were looking at the Brandon area, but the internet listings for rent make it seem a little too high. The most important factor is safety and affordability. We can afford about $800 a month, maybe $850, but no more than that...is there anywhere near Tampa that rents out that low that is still safe?
