Congrats to you both!I am going to NYC this weekend as well. Taking public transportation is brutal, especially if you plan on taking Septa Regional Rail to Trenton, NJ to take their train into NYC Penn Station. I found a better way of getting to NYC with an hour to hour and a half drive and it costs me about 20 bucks round trip. I take Boltbus www.boltbus.com which is located right across the street from 30th street station, behind the old post office. It has free wi-fi and a bathroom. And its quiet and a nice ride to spend with someone. The seats are roomy, leather and have seat belts as well. I am going to see a broadway show which I got tickets off of broadwaybox.com - and I got the 6th row from the stage for 70 bucks. The seats originally cost $200! You get really good deals on that website and they have practically every show on there! I personally love Central Park- they have the biggest skating rink and its really nice and romantic! There s also ice skating at Rockefeller which is smaller but they have it all decked out in holiday decorations - with the biggest tree you will ever see. But what is even better is you can go up on the rockefeller building and see out into the city and eat. And you can go any time of the day or night! You cant go wrong with Times Square and 5th Ave shopping- but Bryant Park is a nice place to go and escape. Have a nice lunch and get away from the craziness of people. There is a lot to do but I do advise that you do not eat at the Hard Rock and Planet Hollywood-their way over priced and the food is terrible-and that goes for pretty much every restaurant in Times Square. There s lots of cool pizza shops and food places and restaurants along 5th and 6th Ave and they arent that expensive! Dylans candy bar on Park ave is really cool. You will have so much fun in there-theres candy everywhere and they have the best goodies you will ever find!Have a good time!!
