What is the best city to live at in New Hampshire? -

Which is the best place to live at in New Hampshire?New Castle, Rye, or Hampton Falls?also which town and city have the best shopping places there?Thank you. =)

Greetings Bliss, New Castle has the highest per capita $$$ in the state, it s real easy to spend 1,000,000 for a home. The up side to that is there tax rate is very low. They are next to Portsmouth as well as retail mecca Kittery Maine (known for outlet stores). Rye is south of Portsmouth and is also a desirable town to live in . Shopping in Portsmouth, as well as close to Kittery Maine. Hampton Falls is also an upscale traditional New England town, not much in there commercial district but just north of Seabrook NH which over the last 10 years has a huge commercial area. They have just about every big box store you can think of. They are all nice places to live.

What is a warm city to travel to in the USA for New Years? -

There won t be anywhere in the continental USA that is really warm around January 1st. For example, the first answer mentions Las Vegas but the average high temperature in January is 58F/14C. Miami is warmer with an average high temperature in January of about 76F/24C. If you mean areas that rarely have below-freezing temperature and where it almost never snows then central south Florida (ex. Orlando, Miami, Key West ), New Orleans, southern California (San Diego, Los Angeles), and maybe Phoenix, Arizona would do. Hawaii and US territories like Puerto Rico the Virgin Islands would also be reliably warm (if not hot).

Miami is a great place to spend New Years. Las Vegas is another great place to spend New Years. Both are fun and warm.

Honolulu!!!!

What are popular forms of recreation in the United States of America? running and jogging? hiking? skiing? ten? -

tennis? handicrafts? gardening? camping? How much interest in cultural activities is there? What was the last cultural event that you attended? What do the Americans like to do in their leisure time? Do you think leisure time is a good opportunity for self-improvement, or is it better to just relax?

Everyone is different. Some people are very outdoorsy and do all the hiking, fishing, jogging. Some people enjoy indoor activities like playing video games, playing cards, reading. Some people like to do absolutely nothing productive and just watch tv. A number of younger men/teen boys are into skate boarding and trick bike riding, or riding dirt bikes. Cars is also a big hobby for some guys, working on cars, making them faster, racing. Some girls take interest in classes like yoga and pilates, while some girls like the more masculine things like dirt bike riding. Girls also take more interest in shopping, and just hanging out at the mall with friends, going to get their nails done together. I think most people are more about relaxing and doing something they enjoy rather than necessarily self-improvement.

Yes. All of the above. There is a cliche about America being a nation of 300 million individualists, and while it isn t completely correct it also isn t wrong.

How to avoid Thanksgiving traffic when traveling from Richmond VA to Fairfax VA? -

I am going up to Fairfax tomorrow from downtown Richmond VA and I was wondering if anyone who has made the commute a lot knows any tips on how to avoid insane traffic. I try to avoid Northern VA at all costs typically.

If you re going in the middle of Thanksgiving Day, I don t think it would be that bad because lots of people will be with their families and not commuting then. When you go back home, make sure not to go on Sunday late afternoon/evening - it s absolutely awful. Go earlier in the day or very late at night if you need to go on Sun.

Where is a good spot to watch the meteor shower in Sacramento, CA? -

I want to find a good spot in Sacramento or the surrounding areas to watch the meteor shower. A place not too far away and not to hard to get to, but still away from the city lights.

Any area around Sacramento that has a minimum of intrusive lights will work. Heading up 50 past Folsom or up 80 towards Auburn. I would suggest trying local parks 1st, finding the ones that are the darkest. that would cut down on your travel time.

Sacramento River, or up in El Dorado hills area.
