Are there any free tutor in rhode island or really cheap? -

its for a high school student with government assistance and ideas

There are free tutor pamphlets hanging around the Burrillville library. Dunno if they are still there. But it had an asian girl on the front and a black kid on the back, and they were smiling.

Go to your local Craigslist site and post an ad for a tutor. Either offer a few bucks an hour or offer some sort of barter/trade for their service. For example:Math tutor needed for 15 year old in advanced geometry. Can pay $7.00 hr. Or will barter by washing your laundry 2x per week.Try it. Many people do this. In my area a dentist is offering to extract your wisdom teeth in exchange for carpentry services at his house. There s all sorts of creative ideas available.

Your library may have a free tutor program... check it out and if not ask them if they know any...

Questions about visiting Maui Island? -

While researching about Maui, some say stay at Kaanapali and others say stay at Kihei/Wailea. Now, I am a bit confused on how I should plan my trip. I have about 4 full days to spend apart from all the travel. The plan is to visit sometime during the last 2 weeks of March. This will be the first time me and my wife will be visiting any island in Hawaii. My ultimate goal is to make sure this trip will be one of the best experiences visiting an island. I have the following questions:(1) Which part of Maui do you recommend staying? Kaanappali or Kihei/Wailea or any other side? And what hotels do you recommend staying?(2) Within 4 days, is it possible to cover more than one side of the Maui island and still have time left to relax and enjoy the island? OR Do you recommend staying at just one side to enjoy the trip?(3) What do you recommend as far as visiting and in which order? I am sure there are a lot of places to visit. But given the limited time, how should one go about on the list of places to see and in which priority and still have time left to relax and enjoy the island?(4) Any other gotchas you recommend based on your travel experience?(5) Any places to avoid where there could be trouble for tourists?

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

Can Someone Please Advise Me On The Disney Dining Plan ? -

My family and I have booked to go to WDW in February 2010. We are wanting to know , mainly from other people s previous expierences , whether or not the Disney Dining Plan is recommended ? We are only interested in the basic option , the 2 quick counter service and 2 snacks . I see that it says we also get a refilable mug , is this per person or per party ?Ill be very greatful for any answers. Thanks very much.Lindsey

We love the dinning plan. We always get the regular dinning plan and hit one character meal each day. They are a real bargain for kids 9 and under. The CS meals are flexable. If you don t want dessert every time, you can substitute something like veggies. There are a lot of things that count as snacks. Just look for the DDP sign. Our hotel had celery and carrots with dip that I got a lot. In the morning you could fill up your mug and grab a muffin (snack). I actually calculated out what we would have spent vs. what we paid for the plan and we saved between 30-40 dollars per day.

If you are staying at Disney (which you have to stay at Disney to buy the Plan) and therefore are planning to eat all your meals at Disney, then chances are the Dining Plan will save you money. If you going to be off-property a lot and plan to save money on food however you can, you can go cheaper than the Plan by eating outside of Disney. For the majority of people, they plan to get to Disney and never leave property, so it is usually going to save them money. The refillable mug is per person, and you can use it at your resort as many times as you wish.

Yes the basic option will probably be enough, unless you want to take time for a Character Dining or you want a sit-down waiter-served or buffet dinner inside a resort-hotel, or theme park. Also if the kids will only eat chicken fingers and peanut butter jelly you will not get your worth with Deluxe Dining. But if you re a bit more adventurous get the deluxe plan and go to an Epcot World Showcase restaurant and (1) BomaCFlavors of Africa, (2) Ohana Polynesian, or (3) Whispering Canyon - in that order -- and make dining reservations ahead of time. The refill mug is ONLY for use within the resort-hotel you are staying at. --poolside, food court, hotel lounge/bar(?)--

It depends if you eat a lot or not. Remember that the CS meals come with a dessert. Also, the 2 snack credits can really only be used on snacks such as ice cream, brownies, sundaes cookies, chips etc and soda water. Which could be ok, but you may find that it s just too many treats credits to try to use in a day; I know we did. An option is to use the extra credits for breakfast items in the morning. Check around your resort, you can usually use them for breakfast sweet rolls, or a fruit salad or something like that. That s a good way to use up the credits and get another meal out of it.

It looks like a good deal, restaraunts there are expensive. Check out http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdwi/en_GB/tickets/packageDetail?id=DisneyDiningPlanPage bhcp=1 for information about the dining plans. They don t give much info (how much does it cost?) so try calling 0870 24 24 900 (Disney s Dining Plan...Hotline) and ask about it.

It is amazing! You get so much more food for less money. You get a dessert with every meal per person. You get a lunch and a dinner, and a quick serve. You can order anything no matter how expensive it is. I have been there 14 times and you get more food for less money!
