I ve lived in many areas of Florida, what do you like? City living or rural living. Do you need to find work or are you retired. Is cost a problem or are you open to any price. Florida is a varied place and you can have almost any type of place to live. I am partial to central Fl, around the Ocala area. Close to highways to be able to travel, but out in the country style living. If you like horses that is the place to be.

This is a very individual choice. Personally, I loved living in Panama City Beach where I could sit on my deck in the evening and watch the sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. I also like the area around Tampa. Other people will have different opinions. What might be best for you depends on your personal preferences.

There is NOT a free shuttle from the airport to any strip hotel. Best and cheapest aren t the same.We ve stayed at Caesars and have always taken a taxi from the airport. It s fastest, and I think the best way. It cost us just over $15, before tip. It can vary a bit depending on traffic. The taxi line is almost always incredibly long, but it moves quickly. I don t think we ve ever waited more than about 15 minutes for a taxi, and we typically start at the very back of the line, by the building.The cheapest way would be a shuttle, which is about $6.50 from the airport. It would be a little less expensive than a taxi, for 2 of you. The waits for shuttles aren t usually as long, but they drop people off at many different places; with Caesars being in the middle of the strip, you ll be one of the middle stops on the shuttle run. So it s not a direct route there.I would take the taxi - the extra few dollars is worth the convenience of a direct trip to the hotel.

Caesars has a free shuttle you just have to go outside the airport and you will see the shuttles every so often like 10, 20 minutes for example.

The shuttle at the airport is fine. $6.50 one way. Doesn t take all that long doesn t matter how much luggage.

My girlfriend and I are taking a road trip from Chicago to Niagara Falls. We will be taking I90 all the way there. Few questions..1)Is there a way to find out how many tolls I will pass and what they will cost me?2)Would this be smart to take during the Thanksgiving Holiday?3)I have a budget for Gas, Tolls, Food, and a Hotel. Anything else I am missing?

For #1 and #2 I really have no answer. Traffic over Thanksgiving will be a pain. For #3, if you are going to see the falls, the view from the American side is not too great. The good view and all of the tourist stuff is on the Canadian side. So, if your plan is to see this make sure you check out passport requirements. I know that eventually you would be required to get a passport, but I am not sure if it happened yet.

Don t know whether the toll roads would have a website that might give you info on cost, but it s worth a try.I m guessing Thanksgiving holiday may be busy anywhere and traffic is likely to be heavy, depending on when/where you travel.And, as the other poster said, the Canadian side is much nicer [and it won t be Thanksgiving there! - though you still may have tourists from the US] and you will need a passport or passport card or enhanced driver s license to cross the border.
