How much is a letter to Maryland from New Mexico? -

Hey,I m trying to send a letter from Alamogordo, which is in New Mexico, to Maryland. You know, the whole postsecret-thing.So, anyone got a clue how much it costs, which stamp I have to use? Thanks,Dani

A letter sent anywhere in the US is $.44 as long as it is under 1 ounce.A postcard costs $.28 as long as it is under the maximum size: 6 inches long by 4 1/4 inches high by .016 inch thick.

48 cents i believe but after what e-mails did to the post office it should be 48 bucks.only thing cheaper would be a post card but then everyone could read it.Is that what you meant by post-secret?

What are some good New Years firework displays in Washington? -

Washington. Not D.C. . Ok so give me the names, locations, quality, times, age limits, and a brief description.

The space needle is the biggest... just find a spot facing it, preferably on the water and you are set

Will I be safe in Phily at night? -

I am a college student, and I am leaving tonight, for my Thanksgiving break. I will be leaving from 16th st on chesnut, and I am going to the Amtrak station on 30th. I will be walking there from anywhere between 7pm-8pm. i looked online, and it should take about 17-20 min to get there. will i be ok? I don t have enough money for a cab, and i NEED to go home tonight.Do you think I will be ok?

You re walking through one of the safest areas of the city. Chestnut street has plenty of shops on it which means there will be a lot of people around doing last minute shopping for Thanksgiving. I really wouldn t worry about it. I ve walked through this part of the city plenty of times and have never felt the least bit endangered.

There s every chance that you will be fine, but be careful. Keep your wits about you, do not listen to an MP3 player so that you can hear anybody nearby and keep your cellphone in a pocket where you can reach it easily - but don t carry it in your hand as it may attract thieves. Try to stick to well-lit areas and, if possible, places where there are a lot of other people about. Pay heed to the local knowledge below - I ve never been to Philadelphia so all I can offer is common sense. Local knowledge is invaluable.Better still, could somebody meet you at the station? You re always safest with somebody you trust. Or could somebody lend you the money for a cab?

If you walk out Chestnut St. and make the right on 30th, you should be fine. That s a pretty safe area.

Florida-Orlando Holiday.......? -

Does anybody know any cheap holiday packages or hotels etc, from england to orlanda universal resorts. ive looked at the prices and alot of them are very expensive. i was looking for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. thnx x

Check on their site and also disney s site as well,I searched on this site and got the cheapest, check it out,it also had discount coupon codes for expedia,orbitz,travelocity,priceline,etchttp://freetravel4ever.blogspot.com

Hi Emma, I have booked a holiday through travelrepublic.co.uk flying from Gatwick in June, and got a fantastic deal. you should check them out. the do everything including car hire, park tickets etc Report Abuse

You don t say when you want to go but if you are looking at school holidays it is going to be expensive as tour operators charge rip off prices then. The secret to getting a cheaper deal is to be flexible on when you can go and another way is to book all the components of the holiday yourself instead of buying a package.Booking last minute is also an option. For instance you can get a flight with Thomson for 295 in December. 14 nights booked yourself direct with Loews Pacific at Universal gives a 40% discount and works out at 1450 so your total per person for 4 would be 658 each (a car would be extra if you wanted one). This compares with Virgin holidays last minute special offer price of 775 each at the same hotel for a week.My advice is to check out every website you can think of and keep checking - hopefully you will see something that is affordable for you.For package deals check out Travel City Direct and Ocean also google Teletext Florida and have a look at the screens of different offersFor diy check out last minute flights on the usual operators (first choice have a good last minute page on their website) Also compare flights on BA and Virgin. On the Virgin website you can see deals for more than a week either side of your chosen datesDon t be frightened to phone hotels direct (even top hotels onsite at Universal like Loews are doing deals. Most Americans will only do small stays so if you are asking for 14 nights you should get a really good discount)Any more questions just ask

Thomson holidays do child prices up to the age of 19. If you went for a week next October and stayed on International Drive it could cost 508 per person (from London).Thomsons have deal for 9th December this year from London for 14 nights at Quality Inn International for 430 pp.I stayed there last month, good motel style accommodation 30 minute walk away from Universal (or $8 in a taxi).I originally booked a cheap deal through Jetsave but it was 2 stops each way and they kept changing the flights until it became 20hr trip each way and I decided to cancel. I then booked with Thomson holidays which was a direct flight and I would definitely go back with them again.I have noticed the best deals tend to be Nov - early December but then the temperature is down a bit though still warm. I like to go in October when the weather is good and the parks are much quieter, I don t like waiting an hour for a ride.If you are planning to get flights and hotels separately you could try priceline.com which does competitive deals on hotels.I stayed at Travel Lodge (American Way, just off International Drive)) one year which was cheap at $50 per night including breakfast for a room sleeping up to 4. It was basic but only 20 minute walk from Universal Orlando so good for budget holiday. You can check out these sites for more info http://orlandorollercoaster.com/http://www.universalorlando.com/home/homHave fun :)

Travel City Direct are a great site - we have been to Florida with them twice and if you tell them your requirements and budget, they will do their best to match that and come back to you with options. If you do a google search for Bargain Orlando Holidays , you get LOADS of holiday companies all come up so you just need to spend some time getting quotes from them all online and compare them. Good luck :)

I didn t see anything for Universal on the mousesavers site, but I saw this for Walt Disney World.http://www.mousesavers.com/packages.html

This is the truth; It s not a cheap holiday!

How much $$ would Tolls Cost on trip from Atlanta to Orlando? -

The best answer I think is to call 1.800.749.PIKE(7453) that is the number to the Florida Turnpike. This way you can talk to them with exact location exit you need. I included the link so you can look around.

There is a $2 toll between I75 and the 408 expressway. The 408 has 4 tolls if you go the hole way which would cost $3.50. That would take you to the far side of Orlando.

more than 25 bucks each way if taking the florida turnpike.
