VACATION** ??SNOW?, Waynesville, N.C.? -

Flor-idiots heading north-------- :-)We are going to Waynesville, N.C. Dec 25 to Jan 1. Whats the chance we will get to see snow? My daughter is 7 and has never seen it. My wife has only seen it once. Do you thing that we can find it in the mountains? Or would the ski resorts be making it at this time? tks for your answers.... i can t wait for the dillard house!! oh yeah! place rocks!!

why would you do that. Snow and winter suck. Snow causes nothing but trouble, and you could live a full, rich life without ever seeing that white sh*t, EVER! Better idea, skip the snow entirely, and enjoy the Florida sunshine and beaches.

What state and city do you live in and why? -

y do u like ware u live

I live in Jenison Michigan I love the town i live in its a nice safe middle class town outside of Grand Rapids. we have Lake michigan close by. we also have over 11,000 inland lakes and hundreds of streams and rivers and we have over 200 waterfalls. we have to many beautiful places to see and wonderful cam grounds and place to go hiking canoeing rafting tubing. there is so much to do here all year long. in the summer we love going to lake michigan and we go camping A lot. Lake Michigan has the best beaches and a beautiful shore line.. i just wish summers here longer. I do hate all the snow we get but my husband loves winter cause he snowmobiles. we have SKI resorts here. you can go down hill or cross country skiing.

I live in Southern California (that s all I m going to say.)I m with Jake. Just because I live in SoCal doesn t mean that I like it here. There s this city a few miles away from where I live where I dread driving to because NOBODY knows how to drive there and I can guarantee you that half the people don t even have a driver s license!I live here because my parents moved here and since California is all I know, I live here myself.

I live in the Raleigh, NC area.I love it here because there are lots of nice people, lots of fun activities, I m in the subtropical climate so winters are short and most of the year has great weather.I also love that it s a family friendly area and I want to raise a family here. It s supposed to have lots of jobs but that s not the case now. But I do see lots of jobs coming in the near future.I don t want to move anywhere else at the moment.Hey I don t blame you Jake. I grew up in Virginia and I couldn t take all that traffic anymore. I m glad my parents chose Raleigh. Come down to NC for a better life.

In Southern California... and I was born and raised here... I love the weather and there is always something to do... if you want to go to the beach it s close by... if you want snow or rural mountains that s really close as well... there is so much to do.... this is my homebut that being said... I would still love to live somewhere else that isn t so dead and has more seasons lol... at least for a little while...

I live in Phoenix, Arizona. Was born and raised here, planning on visiting other places though soon.I like it here because of the weather and desert landscape. It s just home to me, AZ will always be my home.lol And because of that, there are too many things I love about it to just list on here.Sure it has its problems, but so does anywhere else.I m happy in AZ.:)~loveisyou18 3

Sorry but that s none of your business and besides, your question y do u like ware u live is very irritating since you couldn t even take the time to spell out all the words correctly.

you are assuming everyone likes where they live. I live in virginia but i hate it here

Washington DC, because Im important.

Seattle.Because I was raised MOST of my life here.I moved to reno and missed it so much 3

What are some of the better Neighborhoods in Portland OR to live in that cater to middle class people .? -

Culture,Shopping and restaurants . Apartments that are affordable and nice .......But No Yuppies please !!!!!! Lets Keep Portland Weird . LOL .

You asked for middle class but you don t mean yuppies or uscale neighorhoods? I am not sure which you want. Even though the East side of the Willamette River has some wonderful older neighborhoods and historic homes and boutique neighborhoods with great local food, I would suggest you go to the West side of Portland. That is S.W. because the homes are on larger lots, they are newer, and scenic, less commercial. Nothing in Portland is more than 1/2 hr. from any other spot. The neighborhoods I recommend are Orenco Station, Beaverton, Cedar Hills, West Slope, Raleigh Hills, West Hills. If I misunderstood your inquiry I can give you other neighborhoods. You say middle class and to me that is bourgeois, traditional, but not edgy.

I listed middle class family neighborhoods. Are you looking for more urban spot? Report Abuse

Depends, of course on money. Northwest hills are nice, but snooty. Southeast is way too dangerous, so is North Portland and Gresham. Stick to Sherwood, Tualatin and Clackamas. I live in Brush Prairie and would not trade it for the world
