How does the shuttle service from the Vegas airport to hotels on the strip work like? -

This is my first time traveling to Vegas. I will not be renting a car. Can someone tell me more about the shuttle systems in Vegas and how they work. Also, any additional information with how I can book a shuttle bus?

Las Vegas Airport Shuttles and Limousines are located outside on the west side of baggage claim, outside door exits 8-13 at McCarran International Airport. Shuttle prices are per person and one way. Shuttles operate seven days a week. Whichever shuttle service you use, be sure to ask the driver for a telephone number to call for a pick-up when you have to return to the airport. When you are ready to call for a pick-up, you can often just pick up a hotel house phone and ask them to connect you to the shuttle bus company. Be sure to call at least two hours before the time you want to arrive at the airport. Some shuttle bus companies want you to call 24 hours ahead of time. Ask your driver how far ahead you should call for a pick-up.

I go to vegas pretty often. When you get off the plane, and get your baggage, there is a taxi line outside. Do not bother grabbing a shuttle. It s about the same amount as a taxi, but you have to share with other people and that means stopping at a lot of hotels along the way. In a taxi, you hop in, they take your right to your destination, and you leave. Its so much quicker and often cheaper. There is a monorail you can take between hotels (there s TONS of walking to do so be sure you wear comfortable shoes at all times). Click here for info on the monorail. http://www.lvmonorail.com/and more info here: http://www.lasvegastourism.com/transportation.htmYou really don t need a car at all. Enjoy!

Shuttle rides from the airport to the strip costs $6.50 each way. The location of your hotel on the strip determines how long it will take for you to be dropped off. Drop off start from Mandalay Bay and they work their way north of the strip to Stratosphere.http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/las-vegasShuttles are not the same price as taxis. Here is a list of taxi fares to strip hotels.http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/taxi-fare

Most people just use taxis. They are absolutely everywhere and will pick you up in a line outside of nearly all hotel/casinos. Depending on where you are staying, ask the cab driver to not take the strip if not necessary. There is a highway right next to the strip and will get you where you want to go much faster, thus lowering your fare.

Here you go. You can book in advance on this site. Cost is $11.99 roundtrip to and from strip hotels.

Were Minneapolis Streetcars (in late 19th-mid 20th century) an innovation? -

You probably want to put this under Homework Help or History as this is for US travel.

How long dose it take to get from texas to cail????? -

I NEED TO KNOW

The answer would depend on what mode of travel you are talking about and what route you take....

Two to three hours by air, depending on exactly which airports you fly from and into.Walking takes a bit longer.Even driving, we can t give you a good answer because it depends on how much driving you do each day. I mean, you CAN do it in a day or two of nonstop driving, but that would be extremely dangerous. If you need to know that badly, you d do some better research instead of asking such a vague question on Yahoo Answers. How would you know if any of our responses are accurate, or just wild a** guesses?

I guess it would depend if you are walking, driving, flying? Also depends on where in Texas? It takes, what about 5 to 6 hours to cross the state? And just where is cail. Do you mean California?Best bet is go to googlemaps.com Click on driving instructions and plug in your starting point and destination. It will give you what you want.

From where in Texas to....wth is cail?More info is need before an intelligent answer can be given.

It should be about 2 hours if your flying
