Well, some friends and I went to Minnesota from Indianapolis on a road trip, and it took us almost 10 hours to get there, if that tells you anything. Google Earth says from Indy to Minneapolis (on the Minnesota border) it is 589 miles, 9 hours and 12 minutes). If you re considering a drive between the two, starting at either, I actually reccommend it. It s not a super boring drive (except for Indiana, of course), and you get to see Chicago on the way, so why not!?Hope that helps.
Not at all....The following states are the closest to Indianapolis:Kentucky is probably the closest with about a little less than 2 hour drive to Louisville.Ohio and Illinois are probably about an even distance away from Indianapolis.Michigan comes in next.Missouri and Tennessee come in next with a 5 hour drive. There are two cities with major traffic that will add time one of them being Indianapolis and the other being Chicago as the above people have stated. Now Indiana is NOTORIOUS for it s lovely construction which is EVERYWHERE in southern and central indiana. That will set you behind a little bit.You ll also have to go through either Iowa and Wisconsin, so there is a total of 5 states possibly 4 you have to deal with.
It s pretty close. It s definetely drivable and takes about 9-10ish hours or so. I drive there from the twin cities area quite a bit every year to see family and it s not that bad! So it s close to Indianapolis.
it s about a 10 hour drive.when me and my family went there for vacation about 3 years ago we took a detour to where we didn t have to drive through Chicago. if you go through Chicago, like the other girl said, it may be a little bit longer.
No, the two cities aren t close to one another. They are 600 miles away from each other. About a 10 hour drive, 1 1/2 hour plane ride.
Compared to what?It s about 600 miles from the Twin Cities, Minneapolis and St. Paul to Indianapolis.
Actually the drive time is closer to 12 hours when you factor in having to get through Chicago
It is about 600 miles.
why don t you try google maps??
no its a very long trip
