Is there taxi waiting in front of disneyland? -

I m planning to go to disneyland but will need a taxi from there around midnight to get to a motel. So i just wanna know if there are some taxi there already or do i have to call up a taxi?

There is a passenger drop-off on Harbor Blvd, but I don t recall seeing any taxi s waiting. You might have to call one.Have you contacted the motel yet? Because they often have shuttle services available for guests to and from the park.

are you sure your motel doesn t have a Shuttle service?taxis will cost a bundle even going a short distance ...what the name of the motel you are staying at?and there plenty of hotels/motels in walking distance of disneyland tooalso check the hours of disneyland they may close earlier then midnightwhere are you planing your visit?

There is a taxi waiting area on the Harbor Blvd side of the park. But why would you pay for a taxi when there are hotel shuttles, and the ARTS busses that can take you to your hotel?

What hotels can i have like 10 girls and 1 adult? -

It has to be a hotel in Los Angeles. Its for my 13th birthday party. Im inviting about 9 girls plus me and my mom, it would be great if my mom could have a room that is connected but there is a wall seperating the two rooms. I would like it to be a nice but not crazy expensive hotel. Thanks so much!

Which one of these states is better to live in and continue my education? -

I plan on going to medical school and my choices of state are Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, New Westminster, BC, Phoenix, AZ, Lombard, IL, Toronto, Canada, and Bridgeport, CT. I am a city girl and have lives in CA most of my life. I have never been far away from family. This is going to be a scary thing for me. I am in a serious relationship as well. Which one of this place is safe and beautiful? I plan on visiting home once a month, but I would like to keep myself occupied as well while I am not studying. I am into nature and art, but I also like to go out and socialize. Thank you very much in advance.

My husband is from SoCal and he loves Seattle. If you dont mind rain, its close enough for cheap flights and I hear it is amazing and the people are cool. Same could be said for Portland, which is a bit closer. Both these places are beautiful. Some people find rain depressing, so if you are one of those you might reconsider. Another close choice would be Phoenix. Now, I know lots of people that love it and it is within driving distance so you can come home as much as you like. You just have to ask yourself if hot weather and the desert are cool with you. The desert and heat can be awesome, and I like them. The people are great there too. Its a little smaller so it might not be as scary. Your other choices are not really logically close enough to go home very often without spending lots of cash. Although if you wanted a real adventure far away...Toronto is an awesome city. It is very clean beautiful and friendly.

Dont leave california. california has alot of good medical schools including the long list of UC. If you were to leave i would say oregon. The trees and scenery are the most beautiful things i have ever seen. Arizona isnt very user friendly in the summer, and i havent met very nice people there...

My vote is absolutely on Portland, OR... because of how close it is to California and it is sooo beautiful there and has a strong art culture as well... my second choice would be Seattle if you don t mind rain... but those fit what you are looking for in culture and in distance convenience...

What shoes should I wear in NYC? -

So i love going to nyc, i go there all the time and i always have the problem with shoes. I am an obsessed runner so i always end up wearing my old running shoes around the city with long jeans to kind of hide them. I can never find any comfortable, affordable yet incredibly fashionable-functional shoes for those long walks through manhattan. And what kind of bag should i carry with me? I love some of the bags i see around like on Canal St. and at the South street sea port, im not too picky but i know some of those knock-off bags would get me scoffed at. Are there any brand-less or affordable purses around the city? Not sure what to do about the shoes or Bag

well there; s cute bags everywhere, just go for ones without brand names on them if you thinkpeople will know they re kockoffs (chances are they won t!). but as for shoes, i have the same problem, i never know what shoes to wear.i have soe reallly cute heels but who wants to walk around manhattan in 4 inch heels. i usually just wear some funky sneakers or now that it s cold out boots are perfect! try all those discount shoe places by penn station, they have some really cute and very affordable shoes!

Texans i need your help!? -

the wife and i want to move to texas, but we have no clue as to what areas are better than others. We both work for national chains and can transfer pretty much anywhere in texas.. so any suggestions? we are looking for somewhere not ghetto and just regular middle class america to start a family

Then you are looking for the wrong place. Just like D.C., you can be looking at a nice white house one second, and the next second you are in the projects. Texas is full of either old towns or urban sprawls. Since they do not tear down before they develop, everything is thrown together. It is a little prettier in Northern Texas, and the main development is along central Texas. You should move to a smaller Texas city. Our larger cities have nce suburb neighborhoods you might be interested in. Somewhere outside of San Antonio or Austin may be nice. If you want conservative to the T Abilene may be nice.

You might want to try out San Antonio,TX.It`s very beautiful and we have the San Antonio River Walk.We have many beautiful sites here in Texas. I hope y`all move here!I also want to say that we have a suburban side and down town which are very beautiful.

Smaller cities north of Interstate 10 would be well worth looking at. San Marcos, Tyler, Kerrville...all are pleasant, small cities. Look at a Texas map, pick out a few cities, and start doing your internet homework!Good luck!

Alamo Heights, Terrell Hills, and are great in San Antonio. The high school is considered the best!

you might want to look at sugarland, texas. it is in the suburbs of houston

Im wanting to go to the Tennessee aquarium? -

and i was wondering if anyone could recommend a hotel around there so me and my boyfriend could walk or drive. the price isn t a big deal as long as i m not spending 800 hundred dollars thnkz!

If this is the one in Chattanooga, then I suggest staying at the Chattanooga Choo Choo which is the old rail station for Chattanoogs, now a Holiday Inn. They have 48 old Pullman coaches that they converted to be hotel rooms. We stayed there and it was a blast. Only about 5 min from the aquarium.Sean B. Hallidaywww.tricitiesguide.com

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

Shoplifting at age 21 in New York City for $481. Whats the punishment according to NY law? -

I am an attorney and I know a lot about this subject. Do not take this as creating an attorney-client relationship. You may, however, find it helpful.Theft of $1,000 is usually charged as petit larceny under the laws of New York, Penal, Section 155.25. It is a Class A misdemeanor. The maximum penalty is imprisonment for not more than one year and a fine of not more than $1,000. Penal, Section 70.15 and 80.15. (If you Google, Laws of New York you can read these laws yourself.) I emphasize that the penalties listed above are maximums. If you are a first offender, I think that actual jail time is unlikely. What you absolutely must do is consult an attorney. There may be a diversion program available. If you are admitted to the program and you complete the requirements successfully you may be able to avoid having a criminal conviction on your record. Even if diversion is not available, an attorney can advise you on your best strategy for minimizing the punishment you will have to face. Do not expect judges, prosecutors, or other court staff to give you good advice. It is not their job to protect your interests. Some of them perceive an unrepresented person as an opportunity to quickly process a case. That usually means that the consequences for you would be worse than if you are represented by a lawyer. If you cannot afford an attorney, contact the public defenders office. If you can t find that in the phone book, contact the court and ask who does the public defenders work in the area. Sometimes that work is assigned out to a list of private attorneys.Although the criminal proceedings are the worst part, unfortunately you will probably have to deal with something called a civil demand. Laws of New York, General Obligation Law, Section 11-105. The maximum penalty is $500. This is separate from the criminal proceedings. You may have already been banned from the store. If not, you can expect to receive a ban in the mail. If you go into the store again or even onto the parking lot, you can be arrested for criminal trespass.Your name may be entered into a national retail theft database, whether or not you are ever convicted. This database is not open to the public, but it is open to any member retail company. The retailers check this when anyone applies for a job and if your name shows up on it you are usually not hired. So, do not ever expect to work in retail.

Well here in the city, if the total value the item (s) is below $1,000 (in this case $481), you will be charged with Petit Larceny and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, both class A misdemeanors. If you shoplifted in large department store, such as Macy s, you are most likely to be detained, arrested, and booked. The police will probably give you what s a DAT (desk appearance ticket),although they are known to sometimes process shoplifters at Central Booking in Lower Manhattan. If that happens to you, you will seen by a judge in about 24 hours and released until the next court date. Please note, a desk appearance ticket is an order to appear in county court for an arraignment. When a DAT is issued, you are considered to be under arrest from an administrative standpoint. You must report to arraignment on the date shown on the DAT; from that point forward, your case is like any other legal case. If you fail to appear for a DAT, the prosecution can request and a judge can issue a bench warrant for your arrest. If you re convicted of the offense, you ll have a criminal record because shoplifting is classified as a misdemeanor crime in New York. A fines will be levy on you, which you ll have to pay, and you ll be ordered to do community service. Although some jail time is possible, it is not probable in this case.I hope this infomration is very helpful.Good luckNative New Yorker
