What is an Americans view on Canada? -

Just curious....I always see very distinct Canadian views of Americans, but what is an Americans opinion of Canada? Please tell me what led you to your opinions, such as you visited, or you heard about etc.

I think of Canada as cold since it is up north. I have noticed that their language appersrs to be French from what I have heard. I have also heard some men from the USA went there to avoid the draft. And that they have cheaper perscription drugs there. One more thing I have read a lot of information on the net that they have a lot of house churches there. Tell me is this all true.

Most Americans don t think of Canada. Unlike Canadians who tend to live near the US border, most Americans tend to live closer to Mexico than Canada.I ve been to Canada several times. However, I think Canada is very expensive with a ridiculously high sales tax on top of it. And Canadians are slightly hostile towards us once they find out where Americans. I don t go to Canada nearly as often as I used to.

Well... I think of it as frozen and over hyped... I kinda see it as a cute little place that calls itself a country... honestly... my boyfriend calls Canadians draft dodgers because a lot of people did do that... I can see Canadians as sissies and laugh when a Canadian tries to be a hard @$$... but... with all that being said... my first love was Canadian and he was a really awesome (although somewhat sheltered) guy :)

They think of Canada as the 51st state. But really, Americans don t like to be bested by Canadians in any way, shape or form. That includes anything from products, ideas, works of art, pretty much anything.

I m Canadian and I love USA.

Y all play a lot of hockey. That s about all you do.

Nice place to visit, but too cold to live there! :)

umm no problem with em seems kinda like a mini america up there

We hate your bacons, it s just hams.

Shopping In Orlando---------? -

I might be going to orlando next year on holiday, to go to disney and to get some nice weather. People have been talking about how good shopping is over there, especially clothes shopping. Is it just clothes that are cheap? Or are ipod s and electronical goods cheap aswell? Could you give me some examples of prices also? for e.g. ralph lauren shirt = $xx-xx - thanks.

Follow this link for a list of good places to shop in Orlando on a budget.http://www.associatedcontent.com/article

I don t know where you are from but we have retail stores, Malls, and outlets. The Outlets are probably what you d heard about. Ralph Lauren shirts are going to range in price, depending on sales or whether it s out of season or not. Ipods and electronics are the same as any other city in the US. Apple Store s in the malls have the same price nationwide. Best Buy s prices can range in price depending on sales. If you shop at a place like T.J. Maxx, Burlington Coat Factory or Ross, you can easily get shirts for $5-30, Jeans $10-50, shoes $20-100.. My favorite is Kohls, since they are much cleaner stores.. I bought a bunch of button down male dress shirts for $6-10 a piece.. Jeans for $13 and shoes for $30.. I stick to the sales racks which often range up to 70% off, but even full priced items are well priced.. Obviously if you shop at the mall, you are looking at higher prices, unless you are from Europe, than all of our clothes are cheap!

Chavtastic shopping in Orlando is cheaper than London because America does not have a value added tax of 17.5% and business does not pay 11% national health insurance.Tiger Woods golfing equipment should be sale items when you arrive.A radio station in London advertised twelve Carlsberg cans for 3.99.Beer in Orlando is more expensive so your trip savings will vanish by drinking like a tourist.Somebody who hates my Yahoo Answers invited me to meet their handgun.

Question About Exton Pa (Philly area)? -

Isnt it in coatesville? By in I mean like IN to 15 minutes away. Do you consider Exton kinda Coatesville

No. they are both in Chester County. Coatesville 1s 15 miles west of Exton, and the two places are nothing alike.

Exton is definitely NOT considered Coatesville! Coatesville is a tiny post-industrial city that has been falling into disrepair since the steel mill that used to be there closed. It s like a miniature Detroit in the middle of a forest. Exton is a nice place with plenty to do and easy access by car or SEPTA train to Philadelphia.

I would consider Exton to be more associated with West Chester. But it s on the way to Coatesville.

They are close geographically. However they are world s apart socially and economically.

Definitely not. They are 2 completely different towns. Different schools, etc.

I m from Jersey, but I know people that are from there and some consider it Coatesville.

Where should i live nearer Cheyenne Wyoming? -

Okay well i wanna go to school at The University of Wyoming but i am not interested in living in cheyenne, where might their be a cute small town only about 30 to 45 mins away that would work??

U of Wyo is in Laramie. Laramie is a small town.

Yes the University of Wyoming is in LaramieLaramie is the college townMost students live in the town the University is in, unless you are going to a college in CheyenneI prefer living out of town, but around Laramie, there s not really any towns that are close. And Laramie is less than an hour from Cheyenne, so that should be perfect for you.

Live in Laramie since that is where the school is.
