I m not trying to be a smart as-s but you really need to learn how to spell the city name that you are thinking of going to.If I were you I would consider the University of Alaska at Anchorage or Fairbanks. Both good schools.http://www.uaa.alaska.edu/http://www.uaf.edu/

How is College in Alaska like? -
Moving to another state and potential issues? -
I ve done this 3 times in the last 5 years for college and work...here it is:1. send out resumes--look up that cities newspaper online and look for jobs to send resumes to-or you can use Monster.com or anything like that2. look on craigslist for apartments--make appointments to go view the apartments at the same time you schedule job interviews--assuming someone calls you for one3. wait and see--lastly--you DO have to go to your new city--get a hotel and stay overnight for a couple nights if you have to--remember you should be scheduling as many interviews as you can and looking at as many aprtments as you can--plus you need to check out the new neighborhoods and find out which is right for you..put it this way--I flew to denver 2 times in a 4 week span from new york for 4 job interviews and to look at about 15 apartments..if you want this to happen thats the only way to do it
