Visiting NYC (please see details!)? -

I am a native New Jersey girl and am going up to New York City for my first time (so excited!). I am to sleep over at a nearby hotel and then attend my nursing association on 34th street in the morning around noon (a business building located on 5th avenue is letting our group rent their auditorium for our meet-up). Thing is, I have never been to NY, let alone NYC. And I have NEVER slept over in a hotel anywhere outside of NJ. So I am beyond nervous. Mostly because I keep having these visions of walking to my hotel in the dark and getting mugged or something horrible (me and my overactive imagination). I need a nice, but affordable (I m a college student whose full time job is just barely off my tuition) hotel room for one night. Hopefully nearby the building where the association is to be so I don t have to take a cab. I will just walk and explore a bit. I have always wanted to shop in NYC and skate in the big ice skating rink. :)Any other tips/advice/things to do while I m there would be great!

We just got back from NYC about 3 months ago and I m definitely going back! We were there for 3 days, but I think 5 days should be enough. Get the 3+ day NewYorkPass, it will save you a lot of money! http://www.newyorkpass.com/ Also, buy your NYC T-shirt ( 5 for 10.99) at Times SQ.Around Empire State building, they have a lot of cheap NYc sounviers. Hotel wise, book early. We stayed in Chinatown (Hotel 91) but it s clean and fairly cheap- though you can heard the subway at night, it didn;t bother us. Becareful of big and cheap hotel, I heard it s not clean,, The last thing you want is to bring home some bed bugs.Broadway Show: If Wicked was too expensive ( it was for us), so we went to see Fuerza Bruta , we got a coupon online and pay half price =) so check online! .. Let put it this way, we will never forget this show.. we had a blast!http://www.broadwaybox.com/ ? for cheap shows! Ps. We finally watched Wicked In San Francisco, it was great!

How can you live in New Jersey, and never have been to New York?

Do you know any cabins on the mountain with 6 bedrooms in colorado springs? -

thanks.

Renting a house or a condo would be a great idea, and there are a lot of choices for rentals in the Colorado Springs area. It s best to do your homework and use online research to find available places to stay that fit within your budget.Rather than give you a specific property name and location, I would suggest that you do some research on the available houses/condos, the prices and the locations. I have used justvr.com in the past and it was quite helpful for narrowing down my choices and booking a few nights stay.

I take it you mean to short-term rent for a vacation? Try www.homeaway.com. Owners put their houses up on there when they re out of town.
