What is it like to live in Texas? -

i currently live in San Diego, CA but ive always wanted to live out of state. And i like more open areas with room to roam, and i know about the heat i can handle it. I just want to know what its like to live there rather than here, like traffic weather the people things like that.

I have been here for about three months, just outside of dallas. The weather is very unpredictable. There are no hills or mountains, just flat land. The people here seem to be a mix between ignorant and unintelligent. Everyone carries a gun on their hip which is a good thing that causes crime to be very low. Honestly what I have seen so far has been kind of disappointing. If I were you I wouldn t move here. Hope my honesty helps!

Do you think the Statue of Liberty ever takes a stroll through NY Time Square at night when nobodys looking? -

I know she did in the Ghost buster movie.

Of course! When you re standing that still for that long, you need to strecth your legs out and then go back to work!

No. There are people in Times Square 24/7. This is the city that never sleeps ya know.

Yep, I seen her before when I was out walking my dog real late.

Going to NYC for a day site seeing trip...need some tips!!? -

I am going on a college trip - being dropped off in Manhanten at 12 and leaving from Mandhanten at 7. That is only about 6 hours. What are some good sites I can see in those 6 hours? I really want to go to empire state building, time square, centeral park. Please give me some more sites I would be able to fit in (probally will mostly be walking) in these 6.5 hours!! And also if possible how far from Manhantan they are.THANK YOU!

The Intrepid is AWESOME!! You ve gotta check it out; but use the Subway walking to all that stuff in 7 hours is impossible. If you do Empire State Building, Times Square, CP, and an art museume or two you ll be out of time before you realize it!

you MUST see the x-mas tree in rockefeller center... it s rather beautiful and iconic... you can catch all of those other sites by taking the 1 or the 9 train up and down broadway...madison square garden is 8th and 34th... radio city music hall is at 51st and 6th.... central park is at 5th and 65th... st patrick s cathedral is a must and that s at 5th between 50th and 51st... the diner where they based parts of seinfeld at is located at broadway and 113th... columbia university is broadway and 116th...the guggenheim museum is at 5th and 89th... moma is at 53rd between 5th and 6th...

College trip? I didn t know Manhattan could be spelled wrong 3 different times in the same conversation. You should vote me the Best Answer, even though I am busting on your spelling...just because I ll tell you how to see some celebrities in NY. Go to the Ed Sullivan Theater any weeknight around 530pm and you will see Letterman s guests on his show. They dont tape on Fridays I think. You can tell friends who u saw when you get back

There are many wonderful places to see and things to do, you can t do it all in 6 hours. However, you can buy a fun pass for about $6.00 and ride the buses up and down Manhattan all day on that one pass. That s the cheapest way to get around. Been there done that.

I would just do the hop on and off bus tour.We just got back from NYC about 3 months ago and I m definitely going back! We were there for 3 days, but I think 5 days should be enough. Get the 3+ day NewYorkPass, it will save you a lot of money! http://www.newyorkpass.com/ -- there s a map and things to do..

You can head over to Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas Tree.I hope this information is very helpful.Good luck

I have about $250, can i make it to atlanta, GA from Waukee, IA, without using a car? -

i am a 15 year old looking to get to Atlanta, Georgia, i need to get there with my Girlfriend. Please, some1 help!

get a 10 day advance ticket from grayhopund! or get a friend ride free pass

Alright, i talked it over with my Girlfriend, and we decided not to do it, thanks, its good to know that someone is looking out for you. Report Abuse

I won t get into what you are running from but for two people to travel half way across the country $250 isn t going to get you there and feed you or provide you with shelter once you get here.My suggestion is to discuss your issues with an adult you can trust and work out your problems. You are too young to be running 1000 miles across the country to a big city.

You will not make it on that. If you Greyhound, there is too much danger for a kid.If you are in trouble go to the cops...do not come here...We are not the land of southern joy. This is a hardcore big city, and they drop you off in the middle of the action. You are fifteen...don t freakin do it.

Where is a good place to take outdoor pictures in clearwater florida? -

Ummm I Dont Know....Six Money Bags

Whats the cheapest way to get from Boston to Montreal? -

I d like to leave from Boston to Montreal on either January 15th 2010 or the 16th. I m up for transfer trains or flights or whatever but not up for driving. What would be the cheapest way? Plane? Train? Greyhound? Thanks! Oh! I am also travelling with two other people.

I searched on this site and got the Cheapest Flight, check it out,it also had discount coupon codes for expedia,orbitz,travelocity,kayak,pricelihttp://freetravel4ever.blogspot.com

Greyhound has several direct routes that are cheap and fast. From Boston South Station, you can get 4 direct (no transfers) that take about 7.5 hours, and fares 38.50 - $100 depending on when you purchase. Plane costs a fortune. Train would be Amtrak, which leaves from NYC and Albany, for $53 each way from Albany. The trick is getting to NY Penn Station by 8:15 AM or 11:00 AM. Amtrak is not your friend for that portion. Neither is Peter Pan Bus or Greyhound. If you can drive that, take one of the www.busjunction.com buses in the wee hours, or spend the night, then Amtrak is doable.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

There are quite few travel sites where you can search and compare flight prices online. Also be flexible on your dates.

walking is the cheapest way, but it will take a while, bus will probably be the cheapest practical way of getting there

Overnight bus from South Station to Berri-UQAM in Montreal. It s about $55.

The cheapest way would be a tour bus, or a train.

I would say drive. With 3 people gas wouldn t be that expensive. Even if you had a rent a car what a couple hund. bucks depending on how long you were going split 3 ways..

Unfortunately there are no more direct trains. The bus is the way to do it but it it is an 8 hour schlep.

grayhound bus

Quantum of solice /got on train thanks austin and robert? -

What does this have to do with Travel and Austin, Texas?

Is Oklahoma a rule-free state? -

i heard my friend saying that oklahoma is rule-free, that you can drink there at any age, smoke at any age, some weed at any age, drive at ang age, etc. is this true?or is overprotective liek other states?

Basically your friend is full of it. Oklahoma is pretty much like other states. The drinking age is 21, smoking age is 18, and driving is 16 with a driving course, 18 without. In once sense they are a lot worse, as possession of any amount of pot is a year in jail.

Go on Travelocity and get a good deal on a flight to Amsterdam.

I happen to live in Oklahoma and we have rules. and you must be 21 to drink and there about to move the driving age from 16 to 18.

yeah, because the national drinking age is 21.

If you believe that, I have some beachfront property to sell you in Woodward.

No, it is not true.
