How long does a regular train ride from California to New york city take? -

i know this sounds strange but i need it to take as long as possible.

It depends on the route. It s around 80 hours ( a little more than 3 days) if you take the Southwest Chief or Sunset Limited. However if you want a longer trip the Texas Eagle route take about a day or more longer.http://tickets.amtrak.com/itd/amtrak

Well by driving can be a bit longer... 4-5 days or even 6 days.Train should take at least 3-5 days.

have you looked on amtraks site?

Whats the best sport in the SF bay area to take pictures of your car? -

I want to take beautiful pictures of my car in a nice, scenic surrounding. Where (and when) is this best in the SF bay area?

This photo was taken at Ft. Point on the south end of the bridge:http://media.nowpublic.net/images//94/b/As stated, GG Park has some great locations.

The Cliff HouseNear the top of the bridge, by the Marin HeadlandsFt. PointMaybe in a parking lot near a beach so you can have the beach behind youPersonally I would take it on a rainy gray day because I like the effects of seeing a little of the view but not a lot so you get the idea that its beautiful but that its also mysterious. You know how in car commercials, it always looks gray, and what better place to get that effect than in SF?

I was going to say Ft. Point. Not the fort itself but the little road that goes along the bay to Ft. Point. There is a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. You re not supposed to park there, but I see people doing it all the time, just five minutes or so for a picture, and it s not a problem. Also across the GG Bridge in Marin Headlands there is a road that goes along a cliff overlooking the bay, with both the bridge and the city in the background. Millions of advertising pics are taken here, it is literally a postcard view . It has to be a clear day, though.

1. Treasure Island, where I live. You have an amazing, perfect view of the city in the background. Lots of people take pics there.2. Golden Gate Park... lots of little nooks and crannies all over the place.3. Lombard and Hyde/Crookedest Street, but you ll probably have to have a buddy at the bottom to snap the pics so you don t hold up traffic.
