WOW....come on Vegas experts !!!Sorry....so many people come on here and don t answer the question...and others give BAD advice.Simple answer....LAS VEGAS BLVD... walk the strip, if you dress warmly!!! Be in front of the Bellagio fountains and you should see all the fireworks and crazy people antics that typically go on! Also, you could also hang outside of the Harrah s hotel courtyard area (between Harrah s and Imperial Palace)...she can t go in because of the age...but you can easily hang outside of it and still hear the live band and people watch up and down the strip...BUT the Bellagio fountain will be a very popular spot because of the fireworks viewing and the fountain show itself!!!Freemont street...was a good guess...but they close it off and charge admission for the NYE party downtown...for 21 and over too!!! Everyone else...she wanted to know what to do NYE with a under 21 person...not tours, etc around Vegas.*Oh, and after midnight...then you can get in anywhere...when she heads home with your brother, right? LOL
All the ads tell you about the casinos, gambling and shows. The real excitement for the under 21 crowd as well as other is in the national parks that surround Las Vegas. Just to name a few: Red Rock, Lake Mead, Valley of Fire, even a ski area in the winter. Explore them before you come by looking at VegasNature.com Besides they are a lot less expensive to visit.
She can enjoy the shows and buffets and other sites like Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, Shark Reef, Game Works, Sigfried Roys Secret Garden, Manhattan Rollercoaster, rides at Stratosphere, malls, etc. She just cannot go into the casino or bars or clubs, even to watch. under 21 clubs, site seeings. walk around at night. all those shows.i went in september and i used my brothers id to get in a 21+ club
The underage crowd hits the STRIP ! There is no curfew in effect for anyone over 18, so that s where the younger crowd hangs out.
