What town in WI is overrun with gnomes? -

I was travelling through Wisconsin a few years ago, and passed through a town that was overrun with gnomes. Everywhere you looked there were gnomes - people s houses, public places, business buidlings - everywhere! Does anyone know what the name of this town is?? It was somewhere between Madison, WI and House on the Rock.

The only gnomes in WI I know about are the gnomes in Fifield. Here is a website with an explanation:http://www.unexplainedresearch.com/mediaAlso, in the Devil s Punch Bowl, people have claimed to see gnomes running around in the woods. This is located near Caryville.

Which is the best and cheaper way from uptown to Laguardia? -

once I took a cab that went through a bridge in an industrial area and made all the way in 15 minutes,of course it cost me a very very good tip, but I don t remember the name of the bridge.

Uptown as in the 60 s or uptown as in Harlem which is 125th St ?If it was the 60 actually Midtown - then it was Grand Central Parkway 31st St over the 59th Street /Queensboro Bridge =very urban and industrial If it was 125th/Harlem then it was GCP over the Triboro Bridge w/Hell Gate Bridge sitting on your right as you go northThe cheaper way to do that is to stop in any Hudson Newsstand in LGA and get a $4.50 MetroCard Take the M-60 Bus one stop out of LGA to:The Astoria Blvd/31St Stop ,go upstairs transfer for free and take the N/W train into Midtown-Downtownor Stay on the Bus as it crosses Manhattan on 125th St Note :NYC buses do not accept bills as a form of payment ;exact CHANGE or MetroCards onlyEnjoy NYC

Whats the easiest way to get from Disney World to I-92 mile marker 11? -

I know there is a way to go from Disney to one exit to another exit and be on 1-92... help!

A car is the best way to get around if you are not staying on Disney property. If not a taxi will cost you.

There is no I-92 anywhere in the United States. Now if you want to be on US 192, follow the signs out of Disney towards US 192 and then head east.

leave Disney area and go onto I4 and come off on 192, that s the way we go anyway. hope I helped.

why would you want to leave?

Where do you find Pistachio trees for sale? -

I want to buy a Pistachio Nut tree. I ve searched online and can t find anything decent. Is there an expert around who knows where to purchase these trees? It doesn t have to be giant. I would be delighted to have two small pistachio trees (2-3 feet). If not, I can deal with non-roasted seeds. Thanks!

I ve been looking at gardining websites lately and I knew I saw a pistachio recently. Here it is: http://www.onegreenworld.com//product_inKeep in mind the Sunset zones listed. If you don t have a guide to Sunset zones, and if you are serious about growing pistachio, you should look into it, because according to that website it won t grow well in much of the Bay Area. Zone 17 covers pretty much anywhere along the bay/coast, including San Francisco, Half Moon Bay, Oakland, San Mateo, parts of San Jose, San Rafael, Vallejo...etc. Zone 16 is some of the higher elevations around the bay. Also, wanting a nut tree to be 2-3 feet tall is like asking for a 3 foot elephant - it s not going to happen.

You could try the part of California where they are grown? Cant you look online for growers in the Central and Sacramento valleys?

Portland oregon for college? -

I m planning on going to portland community college (pcc) after I graduate. I m still trying to decide what campus.. but I m pretty sure I m going to stick with the sylvania campus. my problem is trying to decide where I want to live.. I want to spend a lot of time downtown, but I don t want to live downtown. my friend and I will both be roomates and will both have about 350 each for rent. downtown would be too expensive and theres no parking, but I want to live somewhere that s just a small drive to get there.. where should we live?

I live in the Raleigh Hills area and pay $600 for my one bedroom. My neighbors with the two bedrooms pay $675. It s a quick ride to the Sylvania Campus (15-20 minutes) and quick to down town (another 15-20 minutes). There are also a lot of grocery stores, Target, and the Washington Square Mall near by, as well as Rt 26, I 5, and 217.The problem with Scapoose and St Helens is that the drive to the Sylvania campus will be a long one.

The neighborhoods around Mount Sylvania are reasonably pricedexcept Mountain Park to the east. There are a number of houses for rent with plenty of room for autos, yet it s all conveniently close to central Portland, even by bicycle.

Consider Vancouver (not B.C.), Washington (not D.C.). It is across the Columbia River and about 12 minutes from downtown Portland. Rent is less expensive too.

You should actually consider Scappoose or St Helens, (NOT ST JOHNS)It is cheaper out there, and you can take hwy 30 right into the city
