we have been to the magic kingdom twice
both are good for a 4 year old hollywood studios is your best bet ,more to do.but epcot is a lot quieter
I agree with the other posts that say Disney s Hollywood Studios, and for the reasons listed above. There are more toddler-friendly attractions there - here I m thinking that the Muppet Vision 3-D, Voyage of The Little Mermaid, Toy Story Mania, Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area, the parades, character meets, and Playhouse Disney. And if your toddler likes the characters from Playhouse Disney, you can also do a character breakfast at Hollywood Vine. That s a good way to meet characters in a fairly low-key settingOh, and I must mention the benefits of visiting DHS over Epcot to you as a parent. Epcot is a MUCH bigger park and that means more walking. So I think DHS will be more manageable. I also suggest getting a stroller, even for a 4 1/2 year old. Again, there s a lot of walking, even in a smaller park. ;)I ve included a bunch of links for you to look through. I hope they help plan a strategy. Don t forget to take advantage of FastPass!
A child that age will definitely enjoy Hollywood Studios, more. Epcot tends to be geared towards older children. I have a 3 and 5 year old, we go almost every week, and about the only attraction they really want to do at Epcot is the Finding Nemo ride.Hollywood Studios has the Muppet Show, Pizza Planet from Toy Story, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, and my kids really enjoy the behind the scenes (Backlot) Tour. There s also the Tower of Terror (which my 5 year old has actually done) and the Lights, Motors, Action car stunt show that my kids love (but make sure to bring some type of ear protection, as it is very loud). There s also Jedi training and the Star Wars ride, Indiana Jones Stunt Show, the Playhouse Disney Live on Stage, and (one of the best rides at Disney) Toy Story Mania. There s much, much more for a child at Hollywood Studios. Hope you have a magical time!
