What are the people like in Miami, FL? BEST ANSWER? -

I may be moving there and I have only visited once. I want to know if the people or friendly, or stuck up, or if there is crime everywhere. Would you recommend living there? Please tell me why. Thanks =)

miami is so different depening on what part of the city you are in, the feel of north miami (Jewish and Haitians) is completely different from south (a lot of hispanics) the beach is divided also, around the sixities and 70s is little argentina, people can be very stuck up more so than in other cities. crime is fairly prevalent i just had my car stolen from a store! people are aggressive and drive horrible. i love this city but i live in the beach and i walk a lot of the beach, the sunset on the beach makes living here worth it but if i had to live anywhere away from the water i would not live here. if you walk from south pointe part all the way to bal harbour near sunset you will realize just how beautiful the area is. oh and jobs here come and go not a stable economy since built around tourism

depends what part of miami around south beach you will find a lot of late night party goers people dont even sleep down south non stop parties that go until 4 pm the next day crazy lifestyles but you will meet the best of both worlds igonorant rich socialites or down to earth real friendly people just find the right people and yes there is a lot of hispanics but if you are open minded no one will seem to intimidating

it depends on where you move miami is a very fast pace entertaining place and there is a whole melting of people but trust me my people are very unforgettable in good and bad ways

there is a lot of crime in miami. it is better to live in broward county.

What is a good place to go on vacation with friends? -

I m 14 and 4 of my friends and I want to go on vacation together over presidents day weekend. We want to stay in a hotel but it needs to be pretty cheap. We were thinking an island off the coast of GA (live in Marietta, GA). Where would you recommend to go cheap but not trashy, and still fun. thankks!

Several years ago we went rented a villa in the Litchfield resort in Pawleys Island, SC. You would need a parent to accompany you - but it really was fun. We rented bikes, walked on the beach, went swimming, etc. -- and it was pretty inexpensive. (You can also fit several girls into the villa, which was pretty much like its own little apartment.)

I am a travel agent and there are lots of nice places. However is one of the people who will be going on this trip with you at least 18 years old, because most hotels require at least 1 adult to be present.Konny

Do wolves live in st louis? -

we saw either a wolf or a coyote outside my house in st louis... we googled pictures and it looked more like a wolf but we dont know if they live here... do they?

I have not seen a wolf and I doubt they are around here. BUT I ve seen many coyote s.They look kind of like German Shepard s but scrawny.

We ran into a coyote early one morning on the walking trail in South County. I m not sure who was more surprised it or us but both of us quickly went in opposite directions. If you want to know more about wolves, the best place to call is the wolf sanctuary off of Highway 44 on the way to Six Flags.

I am sure it was a coyote. They are around in the outer suburbs. That is why they tell people to be careful with their small dogs being outside.

Have you ever been to the Rose Bowl or attended the Rose Bowl game? -

Thinking about buying tickets to the Ohio State/Oregon game. What is the seating like in the Rose Bowl? Are the seats bench seats or individual seats? What s different about the Rose Bowl game (apart from the parade) compared with a regular season football game as far as activities, etc.?

The Rose Bowl is a LOT of fun. We usually go to the FanFest, see the floats being built, and have a meal or two in Old Town. As for the game itself, the excitement level is much higher than a regular season game. You can really feel it. The seats are mixed. Some are bench seats, others are individual seats with backs. Bring a cushion, because they are not warm at all.Have fun!PS Pay no attention to WoE. He s entitled to his opinions, of course, but takes things too personally. I ve been to the Rose Parade and I ve been to the Rose Bowl. But I have never done both in one day. I don t think very many locals do. Where as with pro football, there is a big difference between a Sunday game and the SuperBowl.I think with college football, every game has a lot of energy and there is definitely energy at the Rose Bowl but it s not that much different than a normal game.

yeah GO FOR IT.. I might go this year because USC an UCLA aint going! YEA!!!!!! I hate sc because the killer gave a pep talk to the team a few years ago at the orange bowl, with the head coaches along with the athletic directors approval.Both of them jerks should be FIRED for doing that!!!!I have always hated UCLA because i was a USC fan( before the above mentioned indecent). ASU is a good school, though people will tell you it s a joke... We used to be THE top party school, but were knocked down a few pegs. You ll hear jokes and snide remarks about Micheal Crow being a dumbass for making budget cuts (whiiiich he was!) and that all the girls here are sluts who will sleep with anyone (true if you re by Manzaneta dorms... oy).The people are friendly enough, though. Summer is HORRIBLE here I can t stand it and I m a Phoenix native.. though winter is decent (highs this week are mid/high ish 70 s, lows are mid 50 s...)The individual Schools here are ranked nationally quite high... I m part of Herberger Institute of Arts and Design (School of Theatre) and we re ranked #5 for public schools for our department. The Honors College is, I believe, top at the list for national public schools honor programs.

This is a private track where you pay for a specified amount of time in one of the worlds many supercars. Like a ferrari f430, aston martin, or porsche 911 carrera. I wanted to see if anyone has done this and how was it?

I m leaving for New York very soon (as in just over 24 hours). I live in Canada.I need to get my hands on a cell phone. I have a cell over here, but there is no way I can add a plan to it to avoid the cost of long distance calls in NYC (it s a long story - I just can t). I expect to have quite a few calls and I will be over there for up to a month (with the first call being minutes after I get off the plane).SO! I need a temporary phone. It depends on what you want... small towns people kind of know each other more and are more set into their own cliques and may be harder to become friends with... but on the other hand people may be nicer and more accommodating... in a city you can blend in more there are more people to connect with and make friends with but also the con is you just blend in as another kid and nobody notices you... in big cities there are more activities to get involved in and more chances to meet more people with similar interests as you...
