It d be great to get this money somehow but I m in the US. Is there any way I can get Lire converted to Euro or USD in the US?Or am I stuck? Thanks.

Your bank can do it at no charge. That if you have an account with them.

Warrants in san bernadino? -

What is the question?

This looks like another case of misplaced categories (refer to the San Miguel de Allende question). Unless you have an outstanding warrant for your arrest in San Bernardino (just kidding).

Cheapest motel or hotel in santa barbara? -

me and 4 other friends are splitting the cost but we are looking for the cheapest place to stay.

I agree with the person who said to go with Priceline. Nothing in SB is cheap.Cheapest I know of is about 10 miles south, the motel 6 in Carpinteria.

Check with UC Santa Barbara for student housing to rent by the nights as Santa Barbara is very expensive to get a motel. You can try a nearby town like Goleta to the north or Carpenteria to the south.

RoomSaver.com travel saver guides have Santa Barbara hotels from $69-95. That might be the cheapest you could find. Check online prices or pick up a guide to get the discounts.

Use Priceline

Where is a good area to stay in Los Angeles so I can be central to everything? Beaches, Dizzyland ect...? -

Going to LA in a few weeks, want to be central to the tourist things, Farmers Market and the like.Where should I stay? Which area, maybe even a nice inexpensive villa (haha) or hotel. Thanks

Since LA is so spread out, there is no single place that is close to EVERYTHING. Most people who come here tend to stay in Hollywood, Santa Monica, or Anaheim. In Hollywood, I recommend the Orchid Suites, Hollywood Celebrity Hotel, or Holiday Inn Walk of Fame, all near Hollywood and Highland. Another one is the Best Western Sunset Plaza. In Santa Monica, the Holiday Inn Santa Monica is close to the pier and reasonably priced. In Anaheim, I recommend the Howard Johnson (HoJo) Anaheim, and the Candy Cane Inn. There is also a nice place in Burbank called the Best Western Media Center, very close to Warner, NBC, and Universal Studios. We see this every day in this forum: Everyone who wants to visit here is looking for cheap/affordable and safe . However, such a place just doesnt exist; the two terms are mutually exclusive. It s all about supply and demand: If it s in SoCal, then it s not going to be cheap to begin with. If it s a safe area, then it s more expensive.

Renting a house or a condo would be a great idea, and there are a lot of choices for rentals in the Los Angeles area. It s best to do your homework and use online research to find available places to stay that fit within your budget.Rather than give you a specific property name and location, I would suggest that you do some research on the available houses/condos, the prices and the locations. I have used justvr.com in the past and it was quite helpful for narrowing down my choices and booking a few nights stay.

Hawaii Prep Academy???? Plz answerrr? -

Hey, does anyone know about HPA? Are all kinds of people accepted there, or do they have a lot of cliques? Thx, and also any other info you want! :)

HPA is or was a private school when I was in high school. Everyone there was of Caucasian descent. However there are some who are not Caucasian. I believe there was some sort of lawsuit against the school for discrimination so they had to open it up to other ethnicities.

Thanks! But like what is the school like? Report Abuse

What are some good reasons to move to Germany from America? -

I just want to know some good reasons to move to Germany from America. Please don t give me any there are no good reasons answers.

-economy is better-less laws and rules- It s a western Europe country-you can fly to france, italy and other european countries in few hours-politically, the country is stable-Financially the country is doing fine. GDP (INCOME)per person is high.-social life is better-you can watch and play soccer-techno music is popular there.-the most important thing it s the home of bmw and mercedes.watch out people are sometimes rude there. you need to learn how to speak german also.

The health care system is superior. Germans live longer than Americans and the child mortality rate is much lower. Medical bankruptcies are also almost unheard of because the state pays almost all of the cost.If you can speak German you can also have free education up until you are 22 (High school till 18, then a four year college course), even if you are a foreign national. No expensive college fees. The crime rate is also lower in Germany, especially gun crime. They also have less date rape and less of many other kinds of crime. The food is pretty good too.

Only you can determine the reason to move to another country. Look at your present domicile and the country you consider in conjunctionn what is important and unimportant to you. Do some research. The grass is not always greener on the other side!

Because Germany is awesome. America sucks. (im from america and moving to london in a few years!!)

The economy s better.

they pay for health care and education up to 4 yrs of college
