If you re referring to a yellow cab, there is no way to arrange a yellow cab service. They will have to hail from the street. If you referring to a black car service, however, you will have to call the car service dispatcher to arrange a ride. The hotel s front desk may have a list of car services available. If not, may I recommend two of the best in NYC.Carmel Car Service, which you can call by dialing 1-212-666-6666 or toll free at 1-800-922-7635.Dial 7 Car and Limo Service, which you can call by dialing 1-212-777-7777 or toll free at 1-800-777-8888.Alternatively, you can also take the subway from 33rd Street-Rawson Street subway station, which is elevated to Grand Central and hail a yellow cab from there. The fare from Grand Central to NYU Medical Center will cast you about $6. The fare on the subway is $2.25 and the trip from 33rd Street to Grand Central take about 5 to 10 minutes. If you re taking the subway to Grand Central, take the #7 train (Purple Line on the subway map) from 33rd Street-Rawson Street to Grand Central.I hope this information is very helpful.Good luckNative New Yorker
That is right on Queens Blvd, and there are usually gypsy cabs driving around that you can flag. (They usually have a sticker in the bottom left corner of their windshield.) If not, just call a car service. I use Four Two s cab company a lot. (718) 746-2222.
