Okay so im going to Vegas next month and i heard about this tunnel thing thats downtown next to the nugget (its a hotel). and theres this tunnel with lights on the ceiling that you can walk through.no cars are allowed in and the tunnel connects two hotels together. Has anyone heard of this and if you have is it worth it to go to it.? let me know.thanxx.
It s called the Fremont Street Experience, and it s basically a nightly light show. It s worth seeing at least once. It s around the old Vegas downtown hotels, including Golden Nugget.
The tunnel you are talking about is Fremont Street in Downtown Vegas. It is a covered street which holds a fabulous lightshow which is on thorought the night not sure if it is on in the day. It will be our third time in Vegas from the UK, we are going next Wednesday 2nd December. We are staying on the strip but there is a bus which will take you from the Strip to Downtown Vegas where this show is. It really is something to see and well worth a trip there. It is outside the Golden Nugget Hotel the bus from the Strip runs thoughout the night so no problem getting back to the Strip. You also have Artists performing in the Street outside the Hotel as well when we were there last year we saw a fabulous Saxophonist I think his name was Carl Ferris or something like that, but he is on You Tube. Hope this is helpful. We are looking forward to out trip we are tying it in with Christmas Shopping at the 2 Outlet Villages either end of the Strip. Liz and Allan B Cheshire UK
