How early should i get to JFK Airport? -

I have a 9pm AA flight from JFK to LAX on 1/6/10. I have one bag i have to check and two carry-ons(backpack and laptop). I plan on using the website to check in. so how early do i need to get there??

1.5 hrs to 2 hrs before flight, always is recommended

Th website will tell you that latest time you can check in, but allow at least another half an hour (maybe even an hour) to get through the security check and to your gate. Personally, I d be there 1.5 to 2 hours before the flight.

When is Disneyland least crowded? -

I am going to disneyland this december the 4th through the 13th and want to know if it is going to be crowds?

right before and right after thanksgiving [NOT ON THANKSGIVING!]

It shouldn t be too crowded then, as long as you don t go on the weekend. Starting Dec 18th, crowds are CRAZY!The least crowded time is early January, after January 4. Tuesday and Wednesday are the least crowded days of the week.Arrive early, use FastPass as much as possible, and call 714-781-DINE to make reservations for sit-down restaurants inside Disneyland.

i just went this weekend and it was packed. The best time to go is during the week. Usually its not as bad. If you go on Friday, Saturday or Sunday be prepared for long lines. Since the park is decorated for christmas the park gets very crowded. Go early and ride as much as you can cause by mid afernoon/night most rides will be atleast an hour wait.

disneyland is going to be crowded all day everday. a sad but true fact. The best day to go is mid monday

Christmas day is probably the least crowded as well as Superbowl Sunday.

Wednesday

Where can a purchase an instyler in Waikiki? -

I need to pay cash

Quote from first time mommy , I actually want one too, but waiting on reviews.. I usually do a lot of research into something before making the commitment to purchasing it , and I thought I d pass along a link to a review site I found with mixed reviews on the product. Bottom line, let the buyer beware. Make sure you get what you pay for and are charged the right price. Also read all the fine print. LINK:http://15minutefashion.about.com/b/2008/The price may drop, if you can wait, once the initial buzz around the product has worn off and they aren t selling as much. I ve seen it happen with numerous infomercial products over the years.

Nationwide US liquor stores with website? -

Hi! My brother and sister and their partners are going to be in Manhattan, New York, for Christmas and New Years this year and I want to get them a group present. And seeing as sending them something is pointless because they are staying at a serviced apartment and I am not sure I can be sure of delivery I thought the best present was an e-voucher for something.....and what s the best e-voucher to give that time of year that you dont have to then carry back in your suitcase? Something to be consumed.....i.e alcohol! They could buy some champagne to drink on Christmas or New Years! :) Anyway, seeing as I am not from the US, I dont know any national liquor stores with online websites. I would need a store that would be in Manhattan in New York so they wouldnt have to travel far. Even if you dont know Manhattan, if you could give me some names of big liquor store companies and I could google them, because doing simple searches on google isnt helping me.Thanks! And Merry Christmas!

There are no nationwide liquor stores as alcohol is not controlled federally here. Different states have different laws with regards to alcohol. As for Manhattan: http://www.manhattanliquorstores.com/Hope this helps!

Do hotels or resorts keep record of this? -

Do they keep record of everyone who has ever stayed in the hotel? if so, where? and who could i contact....? what if the hotel is closed? who could i asked, and where are these documents.

They don t. It s kept for roughly 5-7 years. If the hotel is closed, more than likely those records were destroyed. If some larger company bought it out, they would have the records. You would only be able to get access to those records with a warrant as hotels closely guard privacy.

Best way to get from penn station to jfk airport in the winter? -

Take the E train (or the LIRR, your choice, but the LIRR is more expensive) to Jamaica Station and from there pick up the AirTrain (monorail) which will take you to your terminal. If you re going to deal with a lot of luggage a taxi might be easier but there may be traffic issues.

What are the best cities to live in, in Orange County? -

we are moving there, finacee got job. i have looked and am interested in Irvine, and Huntington Beach. could you help me, as to what to stay away from and what to look into. we are both 27, he is in the army, I am hoping to work in social work or criminal justice. we do not need a lot of night life, we want to feel safe and be in a clean area.thank you in advance.

Irvine was voted one of the safest cities in America and it is very beautiful but it can be a bit dull but if you don t want much night life (and even if you did there are a ton of cities near it) .. it is near the beach and I love it there... I def recommend it :)

I have got a Vegas question for those who have been there? -

Okay so im going to Vegas next month and i heard about this tunnel thing thats downtown next to the nugget (its a hotel). and theres this tunnel with lights on the ceiling that you can walk through.no cars are allowed in and the tunnel connects two hotels together. Has anyone heard of this and if you have is it worth it to go to it.? let me know.thanxx.

It s called the Fremont Street Experience, and it s basically a nightly light show. It s worth seeing at least once. It s around the old Vegas downtown hotels, including Golden Nugget.

The tunnel you are talking about is Fremont Street in Downtown Vegas. It is a covered street which holds a fabulous lightshow which is on thorought the night not sure if it is on in the day. It will be our third time in Vegas from the UK, we are going next Wednesday 2nd December. We are staying on the strip but there is a bus which will take you from the Strip to Downtown Vegas where this show is. It really is something to see and well worth a trip there. It is outside the Golden Nugget Hotel the bus from the Strip runs thoughout the night so no problem getting back to the Strip. You also have Artists performing in the Street outside the Hotel as well when we were there last year we saw a fabulous Saxophonist I think his name was Carl Ferris or something like that, but he is on You Tube. Hope this is helpful. We are looking forward to out trip we are tying it in with Christmas Shopping at the 2 Outlet Villages either end of the Strip. Liz and Allan B Cheshire UK

Its called Fremont st and its a giant canopy show with lights and other cool stuff

Im driving from New Jersey to Florida this weekend , any ideas on what i should stop and see on the way? -

any good resturants, sights or cities i should see on the way?

The trip down I-95 is one of the most boring trips possible. And I ve made the trip twice in the last three months. There is nothing worth seeing between Richmond, VA and Jacksonville, FL. Occasionally, I have stopped in Tybee Island, GA which is about 20 miles out of the way just to break up the trip.If you ve never been to South of the Border, stop there just to say you ve been there. But once you ve visited it, there s no reason to ever go again.
