I live in Southern Alabama? -

I would like to take my children somewhere reasonable and close to alabama. for the Christmas holidays. The children want to go somwhere to see snow. and lots of it. Any suggestions?

gatlinburg and pigeon forge. been both places and its only 3 1/2 hours from b ham. you can go up the mountain to ober gatlinburg and they have ice skating, go karts, and skiing/snowboarding.

Cheap NYC/ New Jersey motels/hotels? -

Will be going to NYC for New years is there any cheap hotels motels around NJ or NYC where I can easily commute with a subway or something. I don t care if the hotel is dirty something cheap.

Portland Square Hotel in the Theater District- 42nd St. 7th Ave. Not the Marriot but is right smack in Times Square and pretty cheap and decent. If all you want is a place to sleep and shower and you don t have kids or anything, this would be the place. Good Luck, hope this helps.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money.
