You bet the snow could make a difference especially if the mailman couldn t get to her house. Also remember that Sunday doesn t count as a day.

Go to Bloomberg s site and check the world spot price for gold. Don t get duped. Besides, now is really not the time to sell. Let M1 exceed the total value of goods and services in the U.S. Economy and watch inflation settle in. Then it s time to sell.
LIve in the neighborhood known as Montrose near Montrose Westheimer...(Do not live near the Galleria Area...it s a nightmare of parking and very clique and not good for a newcomer.I moved to Houston from Sacramento from 1994 to 2008, and the Montrose area is the best. I liked it so much, I lived there for 12 years. It s got everything within walking distance, and it s a cool combination between rich housing and artsy apartments, and it s the place to meet new friends and cool people, and it has little crime, street parades, all kinds of different nightclubs, close to the Museum Hospital Districts, quaint, and pretty fair rent prices. It s known as a gay neighborhood to some, but that never bothered me at all. That just means it has a good variety of different kinds of people, which made for a fun place to live. (click on link for more detailed info...)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montrose,_H
Well, first or all. Houston is a very diverse, and open minded city. You shouldn t have a problem meeting people at all, if you make yourself out there. And secondly, where you live, should depend on where you work, a little bit. You don t want to live in Galveston and work in The Woodlands for example. If you work downtown, live in or near downtown.Work Southeast, it would be a good idea to live in the League City area. Maybe Friendswood, or Webster, or League City itself.Work Southwest maybe think about Sugarlandor if you work in the West Katy? There s tons of nice areas. But, you need to know where you will be working. :)
A lot has to do with your job location. You mentioned 77077 - is that where your work is located? It is not exactly the Galleria - but west of there. As a Realtor that has worked with a lot of young singles, you do want to stay close to the Galleria area or inside the loop if at all convenient, but houston is a friendly place so just stay out of the burbs.
Houston is bad in terms of traffic. Try to live near you work. If you are a minority, don t worry as the Houston area has a large Asian, Black and Latino population.
Houston covers a lot of area and you didn t say where your new job will be. You need to consider your job location. If it is downtown, Montrose could be a good location.
