You have to pay the admission price to get into the park. Then everything is free besides the gift shops and dining. So all of the things you mentioned are free. Also, some characters have their own place where you can meet them (Iike Mickey and Minnie). Others change their location from time to time in the day. You have to wait in line to meet them but you don t have to pay. Hope this helps!
The only time you have to pay to see characters is at something like a character breakfast. If you are traveling with small children, keep in mind that the fireworks shows are very loud. This is also usually compounded by being past most kids bedtime. If you can time it right and be on the monorail during the fireworks show at Epcot, that is the best view and it muffles the sound.
well you have to pay an admission price to get into each park but once you are in that park all of the rides, shows, parades, fireworks, and character meet and greets are FREE. so yes all of the shows, parades, and fireworks displays that you metioned above are free with paid admission.the only things you ll have to pay for once in the park is food, drink, and souveniers.
i just went to Disney World last August and the shows and parades i went to was Nighttime spectacular, fantasmic, and Beauty and the Beast and you don t have to pay for any of those if you bought your tickets to Disney World. The characters each have a location where they stay, some roam around, and it doesn t cost anything...you just see um when you see um!You should definately go to Animal Kingdom and see the Jammin Jingle Jungle parade...soooo much fun!!!
All those shows and parades are in the parks and are therefore included in your park admission. However keep the following in mind for these specific events:Candelight ProcessionalThis show is beautiful and is open to all guests but keep in mind that it is very popular and seating is limited, if you want to be able to sit down you need to arrive about an hour early and wait in line to enter the theater. Another option to guarantee a seat is to purchase a Candlelight Dinner Package which includes dinner at an Epcot restaurant and priority seating for the show in the front section. These packages are very popular so call early if you want to book it, the number is 407-WDW-DINE.Mickey s Once Upon a Christmastime ParadeThis is a special parade that only takes place during Mickey s Very Merry Christmas Party which is a after-hours special event in the that requires a seperate ticket. You can purchase the ticket to this party in advance at http://www.disneyworld.comCharactersI noticed your question about characters, of course there is no extra charge to see characters, it is included in your park admission. The characters do not walk freely around the park though, they appear at scheduled times in certain areas throughout the parks, you can usually get a times guide at the entrance of the park with exact times and locations. If you see a character you would like to take a picture with you will need to wait a few mintues in line. A good place to go if you want to see several characters in one place is Character Spot at Epcot. Illuminations: Reflections of EarthThis is my favorite firework show and its a must-see. The show takes place every night at Epcot in the World Showcase lagoon. Make sure you get a good spot early right up against the railings so you can see the show on the lake. The best areas to see the show are near Mexico, Norway, Germany, Italy, or the World Showcase Plaza between Mexico and Canada. Make sure you stay to the very end of the show as there is a special holiday edition of fireworks after the show, this is always AMAZING!!Have fun!
You have already gotten great answers. I d just like to add a hint. This past summer we had dinner at O hana s at the Polynesian Resort. We got to watch listen to the Wishes fireworks during dinner. On certain evenings you can even see the electric light parade that they have on the water. It was spectacular!!! You just have to check to WDW website to check for the days times of the Wishes fireworks, make your reservation accordingly. You have to get on line to see Fantasmic pretty early. It gets really crowded. If of the you dine at one restaurants in Disney s Hollywood Studios you get special seating at Fantasmic (just check which restaurant offers it). On the day you re in Epcot, look around for a place around the lagoon in the World Showcase, to see where you want to watch Illuminations. In the evening, when people start heading for their favorite locations, you go to yours. If you go to La Cantina De San Angel in Mexico early enough, you can eat watch Illuminations. Have Fun!
