Is the community college in maui a good college and if so..how about kahului community in general.? -

My olderst brother went to the University Of Hawaii at Manoa...he loved it so much he never wanted to come back...but he had to because he said it was too expensive...So I hope you have a great job lined up...I can t imagine any where in Hawaii being bad to live...I do know that it might get boring being stuck on a n island though...my friends who have lived there say it does get kind of boring...So i m gonna move there when i retire :)

Directions to 4044 Quakerbridge Road,Trenton, NJ from Manhattan? -

Hey, what is the most convenient way is to get to 4044 Quakerbridge Road, Trenton, NJ from Manhattan? I m taking a TOEFL test there and have no idea where it is. Bus or train? It s going to be early in the morning since I have to get there by 9 am, from West Harlem. Thanks in advance.

This is going to be a long trip, so try to leave home between 6:30 and 6:45am. Here s how to get from Manhattan to the address in question in Trenton. From Penn Station, take NJ Transit s Northeast Corridor Line to Trenton. Once in Trenton, you can get a taxi from the train station to the your final destination. The one way fare on NJ Transit from the City to Trenton will cost you $12.50 ($25 round trip). Please purchase you ticket before boarding.I hope this information is very helpful.Good luck

This is near Quakerbridge Mall on Route 1. It s really closer to Princeton than Trenton. There are buses that run from Trenton to Quakerbridge Mall but I m not that familiar with them and you may end up with a long walk.I would take the NJ Transit Trenton train to Princeton Junction and then take a cab from there.Go to www.njtransit.com and use the trip planner. Actually they may be able to suggest a bus connection also.

Take an NJ transit train from Penn Station to Trenton. From there, you ll probably have to take a taxi. Or, you can check njtransit.com to see if there s a bus that runs nearby.

Cheapest public transportation from New York City to Washington DC? -

Hi!!I would like to know the cheapest public transportation from New York city to Washington DC. THanks!!

Megabus and Bolt Bus are two very nice buses that will pick you up not far from Madison Square Garden (Megabus leaves from 32nd Street and 8th Avenue or thereabouts, and Bolt leaves from 7th Avenue and 33rd Street) and drop you off near 10th and H streets NW in Washington, DC, about a block north of the Metro Center station. I ve ridden both, and they are inexpensive, clean, and comfortable. Both offer WiFi. Bolt Bus has sockets in the backs of the seats where you can plug in your electronics if needed. The one time I used Megabus (a round trip), they stopped near Baltimore to pick up (or drop off) passengers. Megabuses are also double-decker. If I had to choose which one I d take, I d probably go for the one that was leaving around the time I wanted to go at the lower price.I suggest you use one of those, as the Chinatown buses aren t terribly reliable, and the Greyhound station in DC is even nastier than Port Authority and not in the nicest neighborhood. Greyhound is just awful.

Ahh...if you want to make a trip from New York City...you have to take what is locally known as the Chinese Bushttp://www.chinatown-bus.com/People who want the cheapest mode of transporation often take it, but I must warn you, that its not the greatest or most pleasant ride, if you have a bit more funds think about Greyhound.

Cheapest way to go between NYC and DC will be by bus. Check out the link below.Good luckNative New Yorker

Buses, without a doubt.http://www.dc2ny.com/?gclid=CImr7p-bu54Chttp://www.greyhound.com/home/It s a 4-5 hour trip, and will run you about $20-$40, depending on the kind of ticket you buy.

Chinatown bus!

Probably, bus! But I was tempted to say walk! :P

Cod 5 and cod 6 please answer? -

what is the difference take out the zombie mode on cod 5 and ive been told its the same is this true if you can name a reason that would be great and a thumbs up

the gameplay is pretty different...cod 6 is more cinematic (in terms of cut scenes and the twists and turns),it has modern weapons with thermal scope, acog sights, holographic sights etcwhileones story is about THE world war modern warfare, as pretty much said above, isnt a real war...and the story has no resemblance to cod 5 what so ever.

One is in the past and about a real war, the other is a modern warfare one, and is only just based on a war and then spins off into a fake war.

Why do people think your from Chicago when you say your from illinois? -

I know that its a big city, but it s just a little part of the entire state. i m from a tiny little farm town that no has heard of, and i have only been to Chicago three times for vacation. most of my friends say that they are from St. Louis since it s the closest city to us even though it s in Missouri. People see the cities as the epicenter of every state, and it s sad because they are missing out on some amazing small towns and suburbs.

yes i know for a fact i live in a small town outside of Chicagoevery time i say that they ask where is that i say the biggest city near me... some people have heard of it latley since a few movies has been shot in this area.. but most will say there other towns than Chicago.. wow

In Chicago proper there are around 3 million residents. However a lot of people who live near the city will say they are from Chicago just to make it easier. If you include all of those people, the population of the Chicago Metropolitan area is 10 million. Now the population of Illinois is only 13 million. In that respect when meeting some one from Illinois there is a very high chance that they will be from the Chicago Metropolitan area. I m sure your town is absolutely wonderful, but it wouldn t make sense for some one to guess you re from a small town because more often than not they d be wrong. The fact that people wouldn t guess that s where you are from doesn t diminish the country or suburbs in any way.

Well it s because Chicago is the biggest city in the State of Illinois and its a very popular destination in the whole world. I have met people who only know of chicago but never heard of Illinois!! That s hod bad it gets!!! I have only been to Chicago as well but my wish is going to the Illinois State Fair which if im not mistaken it takes place in Springfield, IL am I right? And well im from California I live in Sacramento and Sacramento is the state capital but there is a whole lot of people who think the capital is Los Angeles, just because it s the largest city.. so there

I feel your pain, girl.I am from a small town in Minnesota about half an hour from the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/Saint Paul). I moved out to Boston to go to college and when people ask where I m from and I say Minnesota they don t even KNOW where the state is!! THAT is sad. What s even worse is that if I say Twin Cities or Saint Paul, they have no idea what that is, either. Didn t anyone learn the state capitols in elementary school?Anyway, I think that people are very ignorant and you might just have to always say I m from a beautiful small town in Southern Illinois . If they still mistake that for Chicago, then its not your problem anymore! Hehe. Hope you enjoyed my answer =)

Because a lot of people have not been fortunate enough to get out and see the U.S. as a whole. The big cities is all they know because of media, books, etc. I was fortunate enough to have been a flight attendant for a commuter airline...so I was able to go to many small towns, college towns, etc. in many different states. I really enjoyed it! I learned a lot about the country in general not just by going to the big cities, but the cities with the big hearts.

They think because that is the most well known city in illinois you must be from there. I live in chicago but it erks my nerves when i go out of state and people see the license plate and say oh your from chicago! i could have been from south hollands or some other city or suburb.

Because the first place i think of when i hear illinois , is the most popular town, and is the home of the bears. that big windy city.

You are so right. The best places in the world are like the one you probably grew up in! I grew up in Chicago and have never been to the southern part of our state. You are far more blessed to grow up there!

they are missing out on some amazing small towns and suburbs. I ve never been to a suburb that could even remotely be considered amazing . What is so great about your tiny little farm town ?

Chicago is bigger.A WWE superstar CM Punk is from Chicago, Illinois.

LOL Amazing suburbs is an oxymoron. They don t exist. Trust me.

Well it is the biggest city in the midwest. Why don t you say you re from Southern illinois instead of just illinois?

Well, anyone living east of the Rockies always seems to think I m from D.C. when I tell them I m from Washington.

I think you already said it

Yep, I too live in a small Illinois town. I d much rather be living here than that crime infested ghetto. I take that back, that s only south Chicago. There s actually some really scenic areas in the south. Shawnee National Forest. Garden of the Gods. Mississippi River Road, etc.

What are some fun things to do in Vegas besides gambling? -

hello Lyricmen: Melissa Paul listed some great places to see do (also at the Mandalay Bay the Loin King is playing great play saw it last week) Just wanted to add that some of your tour companies offer a night tour of the city with a guide well worth the $. Two companies I know offer a night tour are Grand Tours...(702)3685100..and Casino Tour Travel....Tele....(702)9465075. Another tour company you may want to look into for Horseback riding and off road ATV riding is....ATV Adventures..Tele....(702)3987729....have a GREAT TIME!!

Lot s of ideas already here but let me suggest a few that will cost you absolutely nothing. Any evening you can take in free shows along the Strip.Start at Treasure Island for their Sirens of TI show. It s pretty hokey but it s a lot of fun, just line up along Las Vegas Boulevard. Next, you move south along the Strip to the Mirage for the erupting volcano. It goes off every hour. Finally, you go south some more to Bellagio and its water show. The fountains dance to the music every 15 minutes after dark. They also dance during the day at the top and the bottom of the hour. Some of the other free fun things to do include: ?The huge aquarium at the Mirage. It s right behind the front desk.?The atrium at the Mirage is a tropical garden with hundreds of plants.?The fountain shows at Caesars Palace. There are moving statues.?The conservatory at Bellagio. It is just beyond the lobby and is changed regularly during the year. The lobby itself is a sight to see with its glass flowers across the ceiling.?The Show in the Sky at the Palms resort. Think Mardi Gras but the floats run on a track in the ceiling. You can also head downtown to Fremont Street. There every evening is the fantastic light and laser show called the Fremont Street experience. The light show is on the canopy over the street that has over 12 million lights.See to do for free. Check out this site for more ideas.http://www.smart-tourist.org/lasvegas/

How hard is to find a job in San Francisco? -

Hopefully, my wife and I will be reunited once again after 2 years of being apart after our wedding. Our CR-1 application is almost done with the NVC and we are hoping to get an interview date by January.I am working in Saudi Arabia with Saudi Arabian Airlines, every day I am thinking of what kind of job am I going to have once I get in the US.I am just worried of how hard it is especially for an immigrant like me.

Like anywhere else in the US right now, jobs are scares - you have to have a desirable, marketable skill, a great attitude, and flexibility. In San Francisco, you re not going to experience the level of localism that would in a place like Kansas City or Baltimore (no offense to these places and people) but it s a young, hip, urban town that prides itself on it s meritocracy rather than it s ability to stick to the formula and get things done.Be open to working in many fields, be capable of working in many fields, will def. help you in your relocation. If you do real estate, finance, construction, or non-profit work, then I suggest that you branch out. Those fields are very closed off and insular here, breaking in to real estate is impossible unless you know someone, high finance is all returning to the east coast, construction - what there is - is locked down by small local builders, and the non-profits aren t hiring, period. You may have luck with the airlines, but don t come here expecting to get a job at SFO - when you work for airlines here in the States, you go where they tell you to go and fly whom and what they tell you to fly. Luckily there are less competitive airports nearby where you may have more luck - San Jose and Oakland also have large metropolitan hubs, Oakland goes international and they run more flights.I d start contacting corporations now, if you re something some is looking for and you re not holding out for a dream position, I d say you should find something in three to six months, something good, within a short time of moving out here.Good luck!

It s a very tight job market.Skilled professionals can t even find work flipping burgers at McDonalds.
