the shenandoah valley in viriginia. harrisonburg is a good, decently sized town. a few hours from the ocean, a few hours from dc, right in the middle of the valley. you literally wake up and look out the window and see mountains (which are great for hikes.) there is a road in a state park just east of harrisonburg called skyline drive, it follows the appalachian trail through the mountains...it s gorgeous! plus its a hop, skip, and a jump from nyc, so all your new york friends will still be within driving distance.there are also two colleges in town, so there s plenty for a twenty-something to do.
Hello, Ive lived in California for 16 years and for what your looking for, I think that Santa Cruz or any place around the Santa Cruz mountains is perfect for you. Santa Cruz has beautiful beaches and a fun boardwalk, its also about 30 minutes away from the Santa Cruz mountains, which has tons of trees, especially big ones. The biggest in the world! Literally! Santa Cruz is also an hour to an hour and a half from San Francisco if you would ever want to visit and if you ever want to see Tahoe, which is absolutely gorgeous, its only 4 hours away, which isn t too bad.
The guy who said the Shenandoah Valley was on point! Me and my husband used to live in Richmond and would always take weekend trips out there (we are in our mid 20 s). The national park there is gorgeous and there are tons of beautiful vineyards around that area. You would be a short drive to ski resorts and the New River (I love white water rafting there). There are also a ton of caverns in the area and people are so nice. Roanoke is great as well- it s one of the more populated areas of the Shennadoah Valley. You have a short drive to VA Tech or UVA to catch some football games. I really can t say enough good of Virginia as I have been all over the state and have lived in Bristol and Richmond. Good luck in your decision!
There is WAY more to New York than NYC. New York has everything you are looking for if you just head a little north and west. The Adirondacks are quite beautiful. The Finger Lakes region is pretty darn nice too. The Hudson Valley is stunning. All you have to do is move out of the city! It s all here for you if you look.Wherever you do find yourself, good luck and HAPPY NEW YEAR! Merry Christmas too! and Happy Hanukkah if that s what you celebrate. Well, Happy Whatever You Celebrate This TIme of Year!
Hello, i am living in California. I do not know how much you like quite but i think you will like San Diego city. Here, San Diego has mountain, tree, and ocean. Cali has a long coastline from north to south. San Diego is not a huge city, but it has a nice weather. Not too cold in Winter, and not too hot in summer. To compare with some states in US, i think that San Diego is a good place to live.

There is no public access to the towers on either the Bay Bridge or the GG. If you saw people on a TV show, it was probably an authorized visit showing behind the scenes stuff. Like on Dirty Jobs on Discovery or cities of the Underworld on History channel. The only people legally allowed to be on or in the bridge are workers for the bridge maintenance.
Realistically, unless you happen to one of the lucky few, or are a smart and athletic daredevil, your chances of making it to the top of the GG Bridge are slim to none.Usually when they do maintenance, someone has to climb up the cable for some reason. You would have to be escorted by someone who has clearance to goto the top and they in turn would have to notify the people in charge of security because the bridge is closely monitored by closed circuit television and they would stop any unauthorized persons from climbing the cable or taking the elevator. The other way would be if you were working for National Geographic or some company and were doing a photoshoot for business. They might let you shoot from the top of the bridge if you were doing some sort of movie or documentary.
Legally, you can t. Someone would call the CHP as soon as they saw you were where you shouldn t be,and in a few minutes the CHP would be there and arrest you.You would be on the 5 o clock newsthough. There s talk about allowing ( for a cost ) people to see areas of the bridge that are currently off limitsto the public. But if you mean climbing the outside of the towers, that can t happen unless you get hired as part of the bridge crew.
It is not allowed. You d be prosecuted. I hope they don t permit people to climb the GG bridge just to get revenue for the bridge district. They get too much money now, and won t dare raise the toll again. I never go into S.F. any more because of the toll.
Illegally.
No access after the attack on America on Sept. 11, 2001.
MAYBE you could say you re part of a movie crew. But don t count on it.
Long distance is included in any Sprint wireless plan. Texting will depend on whether or not you went over your limit, if you have unlimited you re all set.You may want to try going to www.sprint.com and speak to their live support, or email them a question, they can look at your plan and give you an accurate answer.
No, because long distance is usually included in your plan.
There are hundreds of places. Among others the Myakka River the Everglades section of the Wilderness Waterway in South Florida. Do a Yahoo/Google search for camping guidebooks, Florida.
Most definitely!!!! Unless they have very expensive taste.
That s more than enough. Go on black friday if you are trying to get more.
Yeah, thats plenty of money!! you might not even spend it all.
You might want to start with the immigration process first before you worry about houses.http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis
The web site of almost any US newspaper has a real estate section through which you can look at houses, and there are plenty of ways to find agents through a web search for any particular locale in which you might be interested - dallas real estate for example Report Abuse

I-80 goes a long way north just to go south again. Of course I am guessing you started south in Ohio, which means you also went through PA since Ohio and Virginia does not meat. Also, means you went through Maryland since PA and VA do not touch either. and you also forgot a touch of WV unless you stayed a long way north and went around the north side of PA which would have taken you about an extra 200 miles. But I am glad you made it OK. By the way make sure you pay the speeding ticket.
And what is your question?

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
Domestic or international? If domestic, Kayak.com, if international Dohop.com or Bing. Actually Dohop works for both, just search there.
First, it helps to know where you want to fly from as longer distance equals more money.
