How far is Yakima from Seattle? -

please answer fastdetails too

About 140 miles. If you take a Greyhound bus, it takes about 3 hours with a quick layover in Ellensburg, Washington. The cost is about $50.00 round trip. You can also take an airport shuttle from SEATAC airport to the Yakima airport. The light rail will get you to the airport. Alaska Airlines has flights between SEATAC and the Yakima airport. If you drive, you should find out what the pass conditions are since you will be driving through the Cascade mountain range. If the passes are closed, you can drive around, but that s a five hour trip. (It s very beautiful, however around the South end of the range.

Total Travel Estimate: 2 hours 17 minutes / 142.64 miles http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Yakima 1s=WA 1y=US 1l=46.6022 1g=-120.5047 1v=CITY 2c=Seattle 2s=WA 2y=US 2l=47.6064 2g=-122.330803 2v=CITY

Renting a cabin in big bear!!!!! HELP!? -

So we are renting a cabin for 3 days in big bear, but when I asked the renter to send more pictures of the property she sent me to a side for real estate...I suppose she is selling her home. Can you still rent a home out for a 3 day vacation to someone, but the home is also on the market...? Is that possible??? Or is she scamming us? http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/42133- that is the home we are supposed to be renting for 3 days

Yes, you can rent your home that you are in the process of selling.BTW, your link doesn t work.It could be a scam. How did you contact this person? If on craigslist, I would be very leery. Most owners rent through an agency. If you have a listing, call the real estate agent to see if the owner is legit.

Hotel online checkin? -

Im tying to find out if online check in for hotels would work. does anybody know a hotel who already has this in existance?

Hilton offers at some of its hotels, and then only for its best customers. It doesn t really work. People want to be able haggle with a desk clerk for a free upgrade. They have questions. And you still have to find a way to get your key.

What city in the united states has the lowest crime rate? -

I m looking for a place to live with my family that is safe an is a great environment to raise kids?

I lived in Miami for many years and wanted to move after getting married to escape the crime and toppling housing market (which is happening a lot of places but really badly there)I ended up in Pittsburgh, PA area. About 40 minutes north of the city. great place, decent amount of things to do and really no crime. The cost of living is pretty low and the people are great! very friendly and the love their sports here! My wife and I were also able to buy a home, and through research found out Pittsburgh is one of the safest markets in which to buy right now. The home values haven t really risen but haven t dropped while every other area has. It s one of the last places left where it might be safe to make a real estate investment. Check out the burgh

since crime rate is really vague term you need to specify what type of crime here are some statistics: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Statjust press right sort button to sort tabel on top of it , for example if you press motor vehicle theft the biggest number is being shown on Oakland California

north dakota has the lowest rate of crime per 100,000 people. less than 100 criminal acts in 2004 for the entire state.

safe environment huh? hmmm... the safest are Compton CA, Camden NJ, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens NY, Philly PA, and Detroit.

The Major US city with the lowest crime rate, both violent and nonviolent is New York City

Fayette, MI. It s a ghost town, and has been without crime since about 1915.

Somewhere south of san francisco - down to and including san jose, ca
