Very possiblyIf you re going to hit heavy snow on that route it will be between AZ I-40 exit 145 and exit 233 as you start climbing up to the Arizona Divide -the highest point on I-40 -and on into Flagstaff and then downhill into Winslow .You may also hit some snow on your way up to Santa Fe from ABQ and then as you head back to I-40E thru Las Vegas St Charles NMOnce you get to Tucumcari NM I-40 just flattens out all the way to OKC and then I-35 S into Big D On that stretch high winds and ice are more of a problem than snow isI assume that you will route it SFO Bakersfield Barstow KingmanWhen you get gas on I-40 exit 48 Kingman [ gas in AZ is always at least a quarter a gallon cheaper than it is in CA] ask drivers coming from the east what the road conditions are .If they ve driven thru heavy snow their cars will look like it.If the weather is bad to the east and you have to spend a night in Kingman then taking Rt 66 over to Oatman is a nice way to kill a couple of hoursSafe trip
well there might be a little possiblity when you hit oklahoma city nd dallas.
