What city is better to live in and have lots of things to do los angeles or new york? -

I went on vacation to Los Angeles for vacation! The weather was perfect, the people were very hospitable and there were TONS of amusement parks, resturants, and lots of other things i enjoyed. As opposed to new york. My friend went there, and she said it stunk from polllution, very badly, and that it was basically every man for themself. I hoped this helped, and if i were to choosed for you i would personally choose Ls Angeles.

Depends on what you like to do.If you like cultural events, it would be New York hands down. This would include concerts, theater, artsy stuff and small bars. New York City is VERY expensive, but you don t need a car so you can save hundreds of dollars a month by not having a car payment, insurance and gas expense. You only need to buy a subway pass once a month. New York weather can be pretty terrible and it gets cold in the Winter.Los Angeles is a city that is spread out everywhere so you must have a car and traffic is terrible. The weather is nicer and there are more things to do outside, including going to the beach.Taxes are VERY high in both. I have lived in New York City and in California. San Francisco is a much nicer city than both.

well i asked someone if they prefer to live in illionois or ny and they said where they live in illinios theres nothing to do, and in ny everythings expensive so u dont even have money to go out. even though theres a lot of things to do..there s a lot to do but too much to do. you get lost in it all or, you just start to ignore or take it for granted. stuff gets put off. you d say oh i wanna go do this!! and u make a list of things to do and u dont do them. i think its not really a place to get out and relax here in ny. sometimes its like ur always on wind or a destination. the guy from illinois said sometimes he d just wanna leave the house and take a drive when he was in ny, and he couldnt cuz theyre was always someone behind him, honking their horn the second the light turns green.subways are crowded, not safe, smelly, etc. everyone wears black. booorinnnnng. i guess black is most economical since it doesnt stain and matches with everything that s why.I want more outdoors type events around here. fun stuff to keep you in shape.. nice scenery..my boyfriend and i were discussing why some pats of ny look so crappy, like here in queens, theres a lot of construction companies around and they give low prices to get thigns done and they do bad jobs ugly jobs!!in mahattan its nicer bc they do nicer jobs, they have more money or there is a higher standard for it there bc who s gonna want to come to NYC if it looks bad right?I like how some places that are typically boring can look so pretty, and not like a patched up mess job gray messed up cement land, whose buildings are clustered together and theyve got NO LIGHT bc there s either NO windows or small windows (bc they re cheaper) and then people have low energy levels and depression or agression.Manhattan can be pretty nice and if people want some good outdoors and vegetation they can go to Central park. I think people are friendlier and maybe nicer in the city? And lots going on.areas around nyc are kinda expensive and not so great quality of life. u get better quality of life for cheaper in other areas.

New York City!!!!

LA has a lot more to do than NYC. What pushed LA over NYC are the amusement parks and the mountains.

What are some fairly priced colleges in new york? -

that i could transfer to? seriously, cant stand georgia much longer....one more semester and ill have my associates degreewhere is somewhere cheap and easy to transfer toi dont know what i wanna do...other than something in the ceative relm...art/film/creative writingHELP! must have out

new york city or new york state??? any of the SUNY colleges are great --SUNY Buffalo, SUNY Geneseo, CUNY (nyc), etc..they are spread out all over new york state...BUT coming from out of state you will have to pay out of state tuition which is typically double--so nothing fairlyu priced about that
