Is there any way to get from Santa Monica to Hollywood on a Friday night without going insane with traffic? -

Traffic is even worse of a nightmare than usual tonight on my side of town, and I m wondering if clever navigators know of a route to get me from the San Vincente in Santa Monica area over to Sunset without going on a freeway or being in stand still traffic on surface streets.

Sorry, it s crazy all over. Schools are out for Christmas break, and shopping is now in full swing. It s not just crazy on the west side, it s nutty all over.Nothing fast... all the streets are stuck. Just take San Vicente to Wilshire, then left on Wilshire. Then left on Santa Monica . Take Canon or any other street north to Sunset, then take Sunset to Gower.

use public transitthen you dont have to flight the traffic or get a parking ticketfrom the VA (Bonsall stop) Santa Monica 2 or 3 to le conte then board Metro 2 it goes operatesalomg sunset blvd from ucla(note you could also possible walk up Barrington (or brigham to Sunset) andcatch the bus there

Not really, SM to Hollywood or reverse is one of the worst drives in my opinion as far as traffic goes.I would take San Vicente to Barrington, left to Sunset and just take Sunset aaaaaalllll the way.Sorry.

No.
