What is there to do in Lexington, Kentucky? -

I will be spending 3 days in Lexington, KY with nothing to do. Can anyone who has been there or lives there give me a heads up on the fun stuff to do? It will be in the middle of January, so weather might be a factor. Thanks!

The big claims to fame are horse racing and college basketball. A UK basketball game is the thing to do if the timing is right. You are too early to see horse racing at Keeneland, but you could visit the KY horse park. The area around Lexington offers lots of hiking (Raven Run, Berea Forest, Natural Bridge) and canoeing (Elkhorn Creek and Red River)--but weather is definitely a factor for January.http://www.kyhorsepark.com/http://www.ukathletics.com/sports/m-bask

The university campus near the center of town is quite interesting. The library is an architectural extreme that has to be seen from the inside (top floor). Also, there are some reasonable eateriesno lard nor baconacross the street from the university.

You can go to the Kentucky Derby. But,,,since that happens only once a year, you might have a bit of a wait. This answer gives you NO more indormation than your question.

Is there a tiffany and co in the palisades mall? -

no. http://www.tiffany.com/Locations/Default

About how much do you pay a month in Electric, using National Grid? I have gas heat so don t include that, I also have a Child and I am home all day. So if someone has a similar situation that would be very helpful to giving me a rough estimate.Thank You

I live in the Lowell area and also have gas heat and I pay approx. $150 a month to National Grid for electricity.
