Is there a swine flu red alert in San Diego? -

We plan to go to legoland in two weeks. My wife just heard from her brother that there is a red alert of some kind in san diego regarding swine flu and that people are advised not to go near there. Is it true? What s the situation in LA regarding swine flu? Thanks!

It s all paranoia and hype from the news media. She said that her brother in El Cajon heard from a friend that the swine flu had made her cancel a hot date. Burlington is colder, Boulder really isn t that cold, the winters are just longer than in VT. So while it s a lot colder in the winter in VT, it snows in May in Boulder.

Your best bet is to visit a camping store, or RV dealer and purchase a woodhalls campground guide. Pick up a copy of the New Times for info on music events, or go to azcentral.com and do a search for events. I don t know of any paintball places but there are a few laser tag places around and there s Polar Ice. I m not sure what part of the valley you re in but there s a Brunzwick Zone bowling place in Gilbert and Fiddlestix in Tempe has mini golf, batting cages, a driving range and go karts.

Take a drive up to the town of Cave Creek and eat at Big Earl s Greasy Eats or if you want Mexican food El Encanto . They have a gorgeous patio area, and the weather is perfect right now.
