Do you think that Chicagos weather has been crazy lately? -

Only for people who live in chicago answer this question

Not really. I ve lived in the Chicagoland area for 45 years, and I ve seen about everything. For example, tornados in January (that was in 2007), snow in April, Fourth of July in the 60 s. Chicago s weather goes through spells. Sometimes it s normal, sometimes it s not. We ve had a very wet year in 2009, and I hope that doesn t last into 2010. Today the weather is very normal for a mid-November day. The snow usually starts flying around Thanksgiving. The last two Decembers have been very snowy, so we ll have to see what happens this time around.

It has been either unusually warm or constant rain for the past month.

What is there to do in san antonio, texas? -

I ve lived here for almost all my life so but there s still stuff to do. Visit the alamo and then some of the places around it like Ripley s believe it or not and Guinness world records. when you re finished, try the tower of the americas. right now it s Christmas time so walk down the river walk and Look at the Christmas lights, go to some of the restaurants and shops around the river walk, you should even take the boats around. that s not all but that s all I m saying for now. when your finished, you ll easily find other stuff to do. have a great time here.

There s the typical tourist stuff such as visiting the Alamo, walking along the Riverwalk, visiting the art galleries in Southtown, shopping at La Cantera and North Star Mall. If you don t want to the typical San Antonio stuff, I suggest you find a crazy party. Get really wasted and I mean drink to black and make out with the hottest guy you see and just blame it on the a-a-a-alcohol. No, I m just kidding about that. I would suggest you also visit Alamo Quarry, The San Antonio Zoo (but I don t know if it s open during the winter months), the Japanese Tea Gardens (Sunken Gardens), visit Mission San Jose, eat at Rosario s and have their Enchiladas Suizas because they are the bomb, and go to the La Villita. O yeah, also go to Sam s Burger Joint because they have live music on weekends. Also, go to Pat O Briens or COCO Chocolate Lounge. Actually, I really hope that you go to COCO s because it always goes down at that place, I ve had some good times there and it s classy!

there are so many things to do go to the river walk, go to the missions, go to los maples when the leaves turned (oct) i mean there is octoberfest also. there are alot of things you can do each month there are things to do if you want to. parades to attend and basketball games and stuff like that. i mean there are school games to attend. you can swim in pools and you can just go to the museums. go to clubs if you drink. go to restraunts.

There is the alamo of course. There are some really cool museums I don t really like sports so idk if basketball is in season but I do know there team is the spurs. There is also a six flags. And there are alot of other really cool places too. :) oh! And the riverwalk!

i used to live there well you could go to the silverado 16 theater you could go to resturants and the alamo sea world fiesta texas. it is a great city.

Visit the Alamo, Fiesta Texas, Seaworld... The Riverwalk is great (take some money)

The RIVERWALK! It s awesome. Like Venice. Only cleaner. And with a big shopping mall.

look at mustangs. the place is infested with mustangs. i mean the cars. lol. i hate mustangs

ride aminals on the ranch and shoot things. or walk around in the heat.thats my opinion from a nova scotians POV. :)

Where can I get a lack of criminal record report (background check) in Albuquerque, NM? -

I am going to work abroad and I need to get proof of a lack of criminal record and get the paper apostilled. Where do I go to do this in Albuquerque?

No criminal record documents are a normal request. Either the Albuquerque Police Department or the county Sheriff s Office can provide one (maybe both agencies, but call first). Same with fingerprints. You will have to go to their appropriate office in person and there is usually a fee. The letter will be on departmental stationary with signatures so it will be an official document.Government agencies in America don t typically use the stamps seals often found on documents from other countries, but ask if they have stamps or seals that can be added to the letter.http://www.apostilleinusa.com/

What should i wear in the city tomorrow to see the Rockettes? -

im going to see the Rockettes for the first time in nyc and i have noo idea wut to wear..helppp pleaseee!!

wear something warm. cuz it will be cold.

It s going to be VERY cold, though Radio City Music Hall is generally kept at a comfortable temperature, so layers is the way to go. Radio City isn t very dressy, with the exception of the Christmas show where people tend to like to look their best. Many people do dress pretty casually, but the better your tickets, the dressier you should be. That s actually a matter of respect for the event and the performers. Layer your clothes, so that you re warm enough outside but still able to shed some of those layers to be comfortable inside. A nice sparkly Christmas type sweater and neat pants or a skirt or a holiday type dress is appropriate. Please don t wear jeans. Some do wear jeans, but the theater is a special thing, especially the Christmas show, so honor that by dressing up for the occasion. When I went with my girls last year, the girls wore velvet dresses with tights and boots, due to the snow, but I stashed their boots in a tote bag and had them put on their pretty shoes once indoors (not totally necessary, but I was teaching them the importance o dressing up for special occasions). I wore black dress slacks with a ruffly blouse and evening shawl. Everyone else in our section (we were in the dress circle , which is the first eight or so rows) was also dressed up. In the lobby I noticed all types of clothes, but most people were in dressy clothes, and most of the men were in suits or at least very neatly dressed. Really, the Radio City Christmas show, for most, is a once in a lifetime experience, so it s best to really go all out. Be comfortable, but do it up right and show some style. New Yorkers tend to wear a lot of black, but the audience is about half tourists, so all colors are seen. My dear, you re in for a treat. I ve been lucky enough to have been to that show a dozen times, and each one was more spectacular than the last. They just get better and better every year, and each year the show is very different and always a thrill.

there is a saying that you can never be over dressed for the city. i go every year and there is a mix of what people wear. id wear dark jean with a nice shirt and boots with heels.

Wear a nice shirt, something with ruffles down the center would look nice...maybe a black or red color. I would also wear nice pants with dress boots.

Radio city likes it when you dress the same as the girls. Something really short ( a tiny santa outfit if you have one) stockings that show some legYou will look great

wear something warm if you have to walk around the city. LAYERS!!! hat, gloves, scarf, heavy jacket.

NOTHING HUNNY

something warm and festive.

something warm becasue in new york its freezingg!!!!!!

How the hell are we supposed to know what s in your wardrobe?why would you wanna go to that anyway?

I live in NYC. Where to spend New years with my BF. In town or out? -

I live in NYC. Where to spend New years with my BF. In town or out?okay now my boyfreind and i have been together for a biy. we want to have a mind relaxing and yet fun new years. it doesnt matter if we are in nyc or a bus ride away sayyy Boston?dont know yet. we just want to be together. sadly we still live with our parents so im thinking a hotel in the city...i just want to be with him. any random ideas would be great. thanks guys

To me, holidays or events that bring a lot of tourists to NYC are perfect opportunities to get out of town. Hotels anywhere will be expensive on New Years, but here in the city especially... and if you don t want to go to Times Square there s really nothing you couldn t do anywhere else. And yes, to that last commenter: I said get out of town. I m a born and raised New Yorker. We do call it town in certain contexts. As the old song goes: New York, New York, it s a helluva town: the Bronx is up and the Battery s down.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

You should stay in New York, most people would want to go there for New Year s anyway, and you live there! Have a great New Year s!

You don t live in New York don t lie. Who calls New York a Town?
