Not really. I ve lived in the Chicagoland area for 45 years, and I ve seen about everything. For example, tornados in January (that was in 2007), snow in April, Fourth of July in the 60 s. Chicago s weather goes through spells. Sometimes it s normal, sometimes it s not. We ve had a very wet year in 2009, and I hope that doesn t last into 2010. Today the weather is very normal for a mid-November day. The snow usually starts flying around Thanksgiving. The last two Decembers have been very snowy, so we ll have to see what happens this time around.
It has been either unusually warm or constant rain for the past month.
