I have a question about Memorial Herman hospital in Houston.? -

Across from Memorial City mall, they are constructing a beautiful Memorial Herman hopspital addition. Part of this includes a tower where the top of it appears to be all glass. It lights up with blue neon at night. What is in this part of the tower? Do tell!NO GUESSES OR RANDOM EMAILS PLEASE. THANK YOU.

Among other things, it is the Children s Hospital. It is also hospice care as well.I ve been a patient in Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital in the past, and spent a few days there earlier this year. That hospital is also a cardiology specialist.Personally, I find the neon (LEDs, really) a bit annoying. We called it The Christmas Tree when they were building it, two years ago. Now the building looks like a big robot. The glass part on top is office space.

Work in the Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center Hospital, and indeed its an expansion of Children s Memorial Hermann Hospital at the MH Memorial City campus.

They have added the Memorial Hermann Memorial City Children s Hospital, which is another location of MHCS.

I am planning to rent a cabin close to Santa Fe N.M. (any suggestions) I do not have a large budget. Thanks? -

If it is close to a Sky mountain the better.

Check out Glorietta, that is about the best you will be able to find near Santa Fe.

First Trip To Walt Disney World? -

Hi, I am planning my first ever trip trip WDW!!!!!! I purchased a book called The Unofficial Guide To WDW 2010 and it had lots of inf. However, I Still have a few questions.1. Is the Magic Your Way Plus Dining a good idea/deal with a group of 4, with 2 adults and 2 teenagers?2. Is WDW worth the $?3.Is a family suite in the ll-Star Music Value Resort nice? THANKS!

I live in FL and we go a lot! I went a lot before we moved here also! First off go to Mouse Savers.com you will get all the info you can imagine there! Also FOR SURE DO THE DINING PLAN!!! We purchased it for our family. 4 of us and in 2 days it already paid for itself! We also used to dinner points and did a dinner show which that was so worth it. I tell everyone I know to get the dining plan! WDW is so much fun! Our boys liked MGM more. with the tower of terror and the power rangers, woody and buzz. We didn t or have we ever went to Animal Kingdom. I heard it s not that great and the 20 some times we have been we still have never went! Focus more time on MK and MGM. Epcot takes a couple days to do. Make sure you stay for the fireworks! We made the mistake and crammed Epcot into one day for us and went to every country! It was fun but hectic! We had our boys make a mask and got it stamped at every country! At the end of the day for the fireworks we were about to fall over and sleep! After it was done we could barely walk!! If you go do it in two days one half one day with fireworks and the other day the other half with fireworks! DO NOT MISS the fireworks! they are 100% better than Magic Kingdom! have fun! check out the site I mentioned! It gives you lots of tips! I stay at The Wilderness Lodge. LOVE IT! never stayed at the value resorts. all I know is the value resorts are pretty far away, and I said to my Hubby. after a long day at the park of MK. Thank God we are staying so close, I couldn t make it to the value resorts! They really do sit way off from the parks. But you don t spend any time in them so it really does not matter. We stayed so close b/c our son was pretty young and I would stay and sleep in with him while my Hubby took our other son to MK. When we got up and around and took the boat over I would call him on the walkie talkie and meet up with him! and it was close for me to leave early with him and nap while my hubby and older son stayed at the park!

Yes, of course WDW is worth the money! A Walt Disney World vacation is something that you will remember for the rest of your life. There is so much to do as well, so the Dining plan is a good Idea. I am only 14, but I have been to Disney 18 times, and I am going again in about 2-3 weeks. I have always enjoyed going, and speaking from a teens point of view, everybody will love it. There is something for everyone at Disney, as it doesn t matter what you like. It is a very good idea to stay on Property as well! I have never stayed where you are thinking of, but I know that all of the resort rooms are very nice. I have stayed at quite a few at that! The Unofficial Guide will help you a lot, as I know it has always helped my family as we planned our vacations. Since you have teens comeing with you on your trip, depending on when you go, be sure to get homework in advance to your trip. I am a Freshman in High School this year, and I know that it is very hard work to get all of my homework done on vacation, getting it ahead of time helps a lot. Most of all, don t forget the sunscreen, a sweatshirt (for at night), and have a great and magical time at WDW!~EE~

The All Star hotels are nice. They are just a little smaller than the more expensive rooms and they come with the same amenities except for a pool side bar.I think the place is worth the money, it s non stop entertainment. And I never used the meal plan so I don t know what kind of value it is.

We ve been to WDW 13 times. Our daughter was 4 when we first went. She s 17 now. We ve stayed at all of the All Stars, Pop Century, before we became Disney Vacation Club Members. Since then, we ve stayed at the Beach Club, Saratoga Springs, Kidani Village. We enjoyed staying at the All Star Music, Movies. The All Star Sports usually gets a little noisy, because people who like sports tend to stay there, and play sports until really late. The Pop Century is newer has it s own bus. The All Stars share a bus, so it takes a little longer to get around. Their food court has some better food too. I love the vegetable lasagne. We ve tried the dining plan, it was great. It really depends on your family. You can dine at some fancy places, you get a lot of food. Since, we are DVC members, we can take the leftovers, since we have a kitchen, otherwise a lot of food can go to waste. Yes, WDW is definitely worth the money. It s a fabulous place, that s why we ve been there so often. If your teens are over 16, you could do some tours; like: the Keys to the Kingdom Tour Around the World at Epcot (Segway Tour-we enjoyed this so much, we did it twice). You can go to the Disney website get a free DVD to plan your trip a personalized map. Plan as much as you can ahead of time, get Fastpasses (free), to save time. Don t forget the sunscreen light rain jackets. You can buy a mug at the food court that you can refill for free throughout your stay. We save money by bringing pop tarts, english muffins, mini muffins for breakfast. They have toasters microwaves in the food court. We bring snacks to take to the parks, water bottles you can fill at the drink station. Make dining reservation as soon as you can. They fill up fast. You can do this online now. If you re dining at another resort, using Disney transportation, allow extra time, since you ll have to change buses at the Transportation Ticket Center. Have Fun!

Travel question? booking flight/hotel online? -

i will pick a best answer :)ok so ill be flying out of grand rapids michiganand im flying too los angeles, californiaits not till the middle of december, i went to expediaand im probably only gonna be staying for 1 nightand ill fly out and arrive there on day 1, spend the nightand day 2 i wanna fly out at 11 pm(which i selected on their website)and it only brings up flights that start at 12:20/7:20 (on day 2)when i selected 11 pm...so are those like in the morning of day 2(even when i selected 11 pm?)or would those be technically a day 3 morning?would it be smarter to go to a travel agency and book?thanks! i will pick a best answer!

If you want to be 100% sure and confident in your booking it may be a good choice. I have booked quite a few times on the internet without too much of an issue but, its very easy for plans to get confused

book it yourself for sure and check into fly into ontiro its alot cheeper and it cost less. its still close to everything you would want to do in cali

When can I start driving in New York? -

I want to be able to travel all over New Englandmainly to MA, and NH. I m 15 now. how old will i have to be to take a full big road trip like that?

You will have to be 16 to drive in New York State with a learner s permit, which included certain restrictions. Once you turn 18 you re allow to drive with a regular license.Good luck

Usually you have to be eighteen to get a license. I think that you can get a junior license at seventeen if you take driver s ed. That license is not valid in NYC, however.
