Im going on a fieldtrip to disney world tomorrow...? -

i m going with my high school choir to be in the candlelight processional. i was just wondering how i could make the 14 hour bus ride there more fun. i m gonna be sitting with my best friends and i m putting a lot of music on my ipod but idk that just doesn t sound like it ll last long.. we re leaving wednesday at 7:30 pm and gonna be there thursday at 9:00 am. maybe if we sleep a lot.. idkalso i was just wondering what to pack. i know florida weather is a little unpredictable so i don t want to pack for cold weather and it be hot or v/v. we re staying untill saturday so yeah.. idk i think thats all..thanks for your help peoples:)

It s good that you re going at night; you ll have been up all day and can probably fall asleep within a few hours of leaving. Traveling is exhausting anyway, so you probably won t have too much trouble falling asleep. Just close your eyes and listen to your music, and next thing you know you ll be waking up in Orlando. It won t be as difficult to pass the time as you think it will, I took a 24-hour bus ride to Orlando once and it wasn t bad at all because my friends were all there. It s always fun with friends. Your iPod will help, you can also bring books/magazines with you, play games with your friends or just talk.As for the weather, here is what The Weather Channel has to say:Thursday: Mostly sunny; High 74; Low 48Friday: Partly cloudy; High 66; Low 44Saturday: Partly cloudy; High 68; Low 47So I would probably pack jeans and short-sleeved shirts/sweatshirts, a jacket/hoodie, etc. Have a great time!! :)

Bring layers, as in clothing. Bring t-shirts and sweaters that you can put on over your shirt. The Candlelight Processional is at night, but I m sure you ll be wearing a robe? That s at Epcot, so if there s wind, it can be really cold coming off of the lake that s in the center of the World Showcase! I live in Colorado, and I ve never been as cold as I was there during Illuminations around Christmas time! The humidity is a big factor.Have Fun!

Bring a DVD player for the bus, that ll soak up at least 2 hours.Bring a deck of cards and play card gamesBring crossword booksCatch Phrase is an awesome game!Florida gets hot during the day and cold at night, so bring both types of clothing- you d be surprised how different the temp s are between day and night, at this time of year.

First of all, you are so lucky! Second, whatever you decide to bring, make it something you enjoy! If you have a laptop.... well it might not be allowed, but it is an option. Bring tee shirts, but you will freeze without a sweatshirt. Check the weather before you pack. I hope i see you there!

it depends on what kind of ipod u have.....if you have a touch, then you can get movies and then u should be fine.....but i would try to sleep if you can cause tht will pass the time the fastest

New York : travel in winter? -

going to New York late December-early January. What temperature averages during that time?? Is there snow or there isn t?l. Now making preparations please help. What type of clothes do you recommend? :D

Winter weather is rather unpredictable, but in general, you will find NYC to be cold in December and January. There may or may not be snow - but snow is rarely a major issue in New York. It doesn t snow all that often, and the City is very efficient at removing snow in all but unusually severe storms. And in mid-town Manhattan, the understreet utilities generate enough heat to keep the streets and sidewalks clearn. I would be more concerned about wind - in cold weather, the wind in New York can be brutal.Dress in layers so that if the weather is warmer than you expect (and it can be), you can shed something to be more comfortable. Opt for real shoes, or better yet, waterproof boots. Do not use sneakers because if there is snow, your feet will get wet. A hat will do more to keep you warm than just about anything else you might wear.

Oh man, every year is different... I remember last year - new years - wasn t too cold (I think the 30 s-40 s). But no matter the temperature around this time of year, the clothes will be the same, except for the type of coat you ll wear - either really heavy (fur with hood) or down jacket.Clothes - no matter what, warm sweaters, preferably turtle necks (but remember you want to be able to take off some layers because stores will be very warm), jeans/pants (optional thermals underneath it)And definitely UGG type boots. You can wear this every day in the winter

Be prepared to freeze if you want to travel light. Carry good amount of winter protective gear, as the temperature will fall during those months. Snow, probably, but hardly a worry really. Predicting the New York weather is like playing roulette, be ready for the odds.

Temperatures can be in the 20s and even lower in January. Bring a heavy winter coat, sweaters, scarfs, gloves and hats. Though it is unusually warm right now for this time of year.

To keep warm stand next to the roasted chestnut guys on Seventh Avenue and wear a winter coat.
