brickell had a town meeting recently because they have too many children and no parks! they are trying to get money from county to build parks for all the children in the area. I dont like that area for families myself but it is very safe and pretty but traditionally yuppie. public school might be miami high which is quite awful. the only good high school would be the magnet school in key biscayne which would be very close for you. elementary is still okay but high school i would only consider magnet schools. i think pinecrest is bettery for families for the island like hibiscus.
Brickell is upper-middle to upper class; mostly high-rise condominium. The Miami-Dade school system is pretty iffy. Though the teaching language is English the students of the public schools in that neighborhood are pretty close to 100% Spanish. If you want to understand what your classmates are saying you need to learn Miami Spanish which is almost its own dialect. If your family can afford it, I d suggest private school.
Brickell is nice. I would definitely live there. You didn t say how old you were. I don t know about the schools. I think you might have to go to private.
