How bad is it to drive in Cleveland traffic? -

My husband and I are planning a weekend trip to Cleveland and I am NOT a city girl. I am wondering how bad Cleveland is to drive through? Should I expect a panic attack??

Even if you re heading INTO downtown Cleveland during the Friday night rush hour, traffic should not be an issue, barring really bad weather or an accident.Traffic in Cleveland on weekends is not an issue, except in sports venue locations before and after games. In bad weather, traffic can slow even on weekends, but this shouldn t be a problem except in really bad blizzards. However, parking can be tricky and sometimes expensive for novices (check parking charges and ingress and egress privileges at all downtown hotels), although on the weekend, parking is easier to find and often cheaper than during the weekdays.Consider staying somewhere close to Euclid Avenue (Holiday Express, Hyatt, and several others) or Tower City so that you can buy RTA day passes for $4.50 each and take advantage of the rapid rail lines, Healthline bus rapid, and bus connectors. Cleveland s mass transit options are very viable, even on weekends, and might be fun for a burb or country girl.http://www.riderta.com/ro.aspAlternatively, stay in a suburban hotel, and drive downtown (e.g., park at Tower City), and then utilize mass transportation for the remainder of the day. A good option is to drive to one of the RTA rail park n ride stations (e.g., West 150th, but probably not Windermere or Superior in East Cleveland for safety reasons IMO), park for free, and take the rapid to Tower City, University Circle, etc.http://www.riderta.com/pd_rapidtransit.aIf you want to go to an area further away from the rapid system (e.g., Tremont), it might be easier to drive. For individuals in decent shape, downtown is a very walkable except in really bad weather.BOL for an enjoyable weekend in Cleveland!!!Check out resolved questions for things to do in Cleveland.

Weekend traffic in Cleveland is not bad unless some big sporting event is going on and even then it s not normally bad. I find it easier to drive in Cleveland than in Columbus or Cincinnati. There s no reason for you to expect a panic attack - that would spoil your weekend!

It s not bad at all. On weekdays, rush hour is approximately 7am-9am and 4:30pm-6:30pm. The city streets and highways also get backed up if there s a sporting event or big concert. Other than that, you ll be fine.

driving is not bad, i would just recommend a gps.

I would like to become a fashion stylist one day and I was wondering what opportunities there were in oregon? -

im only highschool so i was thinking along the lines of summer camps (not just fashion design), classes, people to meet, colleges you reccomend etc.

ya what the person said above, but I ve seen the Portland fashion shows and the designers they have aren t crazy good. The clothes they design are pretty lame and bland, so if you have spunk and true style you would probably do well. You say fashion stylist, but in what area? Department, personal?

I am not sure if you have heard of Junk to Funk here in Portland. Every November they had a big show and people take junk and turn it into clothing its amazing. Not sure if its passed this year. But if you interested in fashion take a peek.http://www.junktofunk.org/

Are the yellow leaves gone in Prescott, AZ? -

I was hoping to go up in Mid-December. I know it reaches lower than freezing during the nights so I was unsure if the fall foliage was still there or not.I tried looking for some pretty colors at the end of October but really, the courthouse was the ONLY place with a large concentration?? Where do I go to see a LOT?

You re too late. The pretty leaves fall off for the winter. By mid December - forget it - bare limbs.Next year check the newspaper or try calling the chamber of commerce for areas like the White Mountains - Show Low - especially out toward Greer, or Flagstaff (drive up to the Snow Bowl), or Sedona to see when their fall folliage is at full color. The time will differ each year.

Is there any deaf schools near gary indiana? -

im interested in asl and i feel like to understand people who are deaf so they would not feel alone if they do and i want to communicate with one if i can i just want to becom friends with them that s all and i want to become an asl interpreter.

While I encourage you to learn ASL and to get involved with the Deaf community, I should warn you that becoming an interpreter to help deaf people not feel alone is not a good thing. Deaf people are people, they don t need handouts and don t need pity. Interpreters that have the mindset that something is broken, and that they need to help the poor, poor deaf people, are seen as more harmful than helpful to the Deaf community. While I m sure your intentions are noble, I would not say things like that, and try to reassess your motivation for wanting to go into that field... if you just want to become friends with a Deaf person, then... become friends with one. you don t need to be an interpreter to become friends with Deaf people.

What Hotel Do The Detroit Red Wings Stay At In Dallas, TX? -

I am a die-hard Wings fan. My girlfriend is from Dallas and I am spending Christmas at her house. She got me tickets to the Detroit Red Wings vs. Dallas Stars game on December 19th and I would like to try and meet them at their hotel. They say the Wings are the friendliest team in the NHL. Any information would be helpful!

Not sure specifically about the Red Wings, but my guesses would be the Anatole or the Crecent
