Nationwide US liquor stores with website? -

Hi! My brother and sister and their partners are going to be in Manhattan, New York, for Christmas and New Years this year and I want to get them a group present. And seeing as sending them something is pointless because they are staying at a serviced apartment and I am not sure I can be sure of delivery I thought the best present was an e-voucher for something.....and what s the best e-voucher to give that time of year that you dont have to then carry back in your suitcase? Something to be consumed.....i.e alcohol! They could buy some champagne to drink on Christmas or New Years! :) Anyway, seeing as I am not from the US, I dont know any national liquor stores with online websites. I would need a store that would be in Manhattan in New York so they wouldnt have to travel far. Even if you dont know Manhattan, if you could give me some names of big liquor store companies and I could google them, because doing simple searches on google isnt helping me.Thanks! And Merry Christmas!

There are no nationwide liquor stores as alcohol is not controlled federally here. Different states have different laws with regards to alcohol. As for Manhattan: http://www.manhattanliquorstores.com/Hope this helps!

I want to move to south carolina how is it there? -

I live in Laconia NH,and I m tired of the winters here.I want to be someplce warm, but I don t know anybody down there, and I would miss my family and friends so much there.I m stuck tween a rock and a hard place here!If I stay here one more winter,I m gonna go insane, but if I leave,I ll go nuts over missing my friends and family so much.I know sometimes they get snow down there, but I don t think it sticks around! I hate cold and snow. What should I do???

The people from South K, as the locals call it are straight up but the most racist people I have ever met, both black and white. I am from Ohio and have lived in Georgia for 22 years so I am known as a damn yankee that I can never shed. I snows in South K as well as Georgia and it has even snowed at Key West, Florida. The grass looks greener on the other side of the fence but it is the same grass.

Why don t you go on a week vacation in Charleston, S.C. and see how it feels, what is there, and more. My cousin lives there and said that it is a busy place. My friend lives in Sumter, S.C. and said to me there s no Starbucks! LOL She is living there for a year due to work so... that s pretty much it. :)

Is New York City dog friendly? -

I am looking at moving to New York City in the next year to attend NYU. I have an 80 pound labradoodle that I would love to take with me to live in the apartment that I m looking at (which allows dogs and is less then a mile away from central park) but my dad said that the only way I can take my dog with me is if it makes sense for her. Is New York a good place for a dog to live, my dog is 100% an indoor dog except for going to the bathroom and when we go for jogs. So do you think new York would be a good place for her or would it make more sense to have her live with my dad in Texas. Thanks for your answers

Pet Friendly Apartment Directoryhttp://www.peoplewithpets.comIf you plan to come to NYC via Greyhound or Peter Pan, you will find out that they do not allow any creatures in the cabin or in the storage area where the luggage goes but will accept service animals.

I have a 50lb pitbull and I lived in Soho, NYC is very dog friendly. But it is a challenge to find an apt in the city. Most well managed bldgs don t allow or only allow dogs upto 25lb dogs. But once you find one, you and your dog will be happy. Many pet shops, dog runs(parks) and central park to keep your pooch happy.

NYC is very dog friendly! No one can cause any harm to ur dog, u can always walk ur dog as much as u want. Don t worry. Good luck!

You wrote, my dog is 100% an indoor dog except for going to the bathroom and when we go for jogs In that case, absolutely! It s really cruel to take a dog that s used to running free on a big property and coop it up in an apartment, but if your dog is already like that, then go for it. However, be warned that you MUST pick up your dog s litter, or NYers who see you leave it behind will give you a VERY hard time about it! Seriously, you occasionally read stories in the news about fistfights that have broken out because someone didn t scoop the poop!Good luck, and the link below is to the UrbanHound.com website, a survival guide for dogs and their owners in New York City...

Moving to America? Help Needed? -

I want to move to america at 18, but i have no idea how im suppose to go about it? can anyone help me please!?!?

You have to be sponsored by a relative who lives in the USA or by someone who is a permanent U.S. Citizen or by an employer. Sometimes it can be a long process though depending on which country you are trying to immigrate from. For more information on how to immigrate visit:http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/So I hope you have a friend who lives in the USA or a relative because that is the easiest way.

Where you movin to? I m 18~I can do my best to help! But where are you planning on moving to? I m in AZ (Arizona) so I could give some advice on the west coast if that will help you out!

America s a big country, depends on where u want to move to, some places are good however other aint,u need a visa, which could take u to months to years... ask ur parents

Careful, there s alot of crime and dishonest people. And make sure you already have a job planned out.
