Old Town has a few really good bars.Gaslamp / Downtown / East VillagePacific BeachOcean Beach (not for everyone)North Park Hillcrest ( North Park has really changed for the better in the last few years )if you can afford it...La Jolla Del Mar have some great bars restaurants.Little Italy can be fun.
The Gaslamp Quarter is a busy area located downtown that has so many choices for nightclubs and restaurants. Many of the clubs are upscale. The Shout House is popular with people in their 20s....lots of audience participation and nonstop fun. It s my home city!PB Bars:Tavern-Mix more black guys and a good mix and dancing.PB Bar and grill-Patio area to chill out and a club small club on the inside. Crowd different on each nights.Moondoggies- Mostly white american/ some latin people standing around.North Park:True North on 30th st is a very good spot Theres hella bars on Garnet ave just head to any of these and you can check em out then go walk if you dont like em you can walk next door or where ever you want.Food:Phils Barbeque, SantanasCotijasEl IndioRoyal Mandarin (salt and pepper chicken) (Outdoor Malls)Mission Valley MallFashion ValleyHorton Plaza (downtown)(Indoor)Plaza BonitaParkway PlazaOh and my favorite:Seaport Village eat at the restaurant right on the water, I forgot the name.And theres a greek food place.
