Total Rewards points for booking a room in Vegas? -

I signed up for Total Rewards when I was in Vegas in September, and we are going back in March. I logged into my account and booked a room at Caesar s, and was wondering how it will work for points? Is it dollar for dollar? Are points even earned?Any info would be much appreciated!

Each casino has their own way of figuring points value. Normally points aren t used to pay for rooms. Hotels will offer you room discounts based on how your gambling habits have been in the past.

I m not sure if people here understand your question (or maybe I don t), so here goes...You earn points on these reward cards by gambling only. You can eat, sleep, drink, etc. all you want at a Vegas resort, but the only time they give you points and offers is when you re gambling. However, with total rewards and mgm players club, you can log on to their websites and find all kinds of room deals, regardless of your point balance. That s why I always tell my friends to sign up for as many of these cards as you can whenever you re in vegas (as long as you don t mind the occasional email or junk mail). Hope this helps.Hope you have fun in Vegas! I m going there over Xmas and I can t wait!!!

Every Harrah s point is worth one cent. 100 points are worth $1.00.So if the room is $100.00, you would need 10,000 points.EDIT: If you want to earn the points on the room, you get 1 reward point for every dollar, and one tier credit for every five dollars.

Not dollar for dollar. You probably don t have enough points to convert for even one night, sorry. You earn one point for every two dollars you bet and usually it takes 5,000 points for a dollar value

Im 18 and moving to Chicago? -

Well, I m 18 and i m moving to Chicago by myself to start school. I ve lived in Chicago before, but only when i was like five, then we moved back down to the south. I kinda feel lost, anything that you guys can think of to help?

I m in the exact same boat. I m moving tomorrow to Bucktown of course it had to happen in the middle of a snow storm :/ I ve moved around before the best thing I can say is don t be shy! You won t meet anyone that way. Also taking classes is a good way to meet people with similar interests but as you say you re going to school there so I am assuming you are going to be taking classes. Actually I am going for school too (Columbia) I really want to start GMing a WoD if you are interested e-mail me.

Chicago is great. Spread out - plenty of different neighborhoods. Plenty of industry. Living conditions: good in some areas, not so good in other areas. Get hold of a Chicago mass transit map. Traveling via mass transit in Chicago is easy and cheap. Good Luck.

I think Lincoln Park is a great location for your age. It s not as congested as wrigleyville (which means parking is better). You want to pick a place that is close to public transportation (the CTA) so you can hop on that vs always having to use a car.

What are you asking? You will get here, feel uncomfortable, awkward maybe lonely, then you meet people at school, and go out and enjoy the city with them and you won t feel lost anymore.

you won t feel lost when you are living here

Buy a map

congrats you will love it here! and you will feel right at home in no time

Orlando, Somebody heard a loud boom this tuesday Nov. 17, 2009? -

It sounded like a sonic boom. Also I saw something going up in the sky but the shuttle launched on Monday and I did not hear anything on the news.

I live near downtown Orlando, we ve been hearing assorted booms and other noises from the construction on the 408 and also at the intersection of 436 (Semoran) and 50 (Colonial). If you live north of Orlando; then there have been reports of noise and vibrations from a bomb range near the Ocala National Forest; the military has a bomb range there for training.I checked the Kennedy Space Center launch archives for rocket launches other than the Shuttle and didn t see anything for Tuesday; of course all launches may not be included, the military launches without publicizing sometimes.I did hear a loud boom at about 7:00 pm on Wednesday; and never did figure out what is was....:)The Leonid Meteor Shower peaked on Tuesday; could it have been a meteorite?

I heard something as well as my dog. Sounded like an explosion far away. They said something on the news, Nightly News, that there was a meteor that hit the earth. But they said Las Vegas though.

Could be any satellite or anything entering the atmosphere.

Does it snow in Gatlinburg, TN in March? -

March 13-20? How do i dress!?

That time of year is really iffy. You re going to want to bring a couple different options. Some years, it can be quite warm, shorts and t-shirts weather, and other times it can be snowing. Your best bet is to keep an eye on the weather channel in the weeks prior to get a better idea of what to expect while you re going to be there.

March is usually windy in Gatlinburg, so wear a short sleeve shirt and a wind breaker, that way if it gets warm, which it usually does for a few hours during the middle of the day, you can take off your jacket and not be roasting, Nights are still very cool, and frost is probable in the morning.

it can ,but it will be cold in march

Which months out of the year does it snow in Boston? -

Not July.

It can snow anytime from October to May, But snow in April, May and October are rare. You occasionally get snow in November. Most of the time it starts snowing in mid December and the last snow falls in mid March

December January February march but ITS NEW ENGLAND IT snowed a couple days before Halloweenbut not alot this year a couple years ago it snowed like crazy one thanksgiving(nov. 26)

First snow fall is in late October/early November. Then it starts to snow regularly by early December, and continues on to mid/late March.

snow can come anytime from october to april, with an occasional freak storm in may

it can snow anywhere from october to may. Usually between mid november and early march are the most likely times of the year.

November-March. But usually mostly in January and February. I live in NJ so I m guessing it s about the same thing.

It s already snowed once or twice, but heavy snowfalls are most likely from December through March.

It usually starts sometime in December and ends in March.

Typically it s mid-December to early March.

late november thru early march

Are there any cooking classes in Las Vegas for people my age? -

I m fifteen years old and I ve been thinking that I want to own a bakery when I am older and I want to know how to bake and decorate cakes and stuff like that guy on Cake Boss. I m moving to Vegas next summer and I m going to be 16 by then, does anyone know if there are any classes for people like me.

Talk to your guidance counselor and see if you can get into a Vo Tech High School. There will be many opportuniteis for you at that high school.

Have your parents check out (Culinary schools) 16? You might have to wait 2 years. They can be expensive...I have a daughter your age, Believe me there is a good chance you may change your mind what you want to do when you graduate High school. This way your parent s money is not wasted! Then if you still want to be a chef? Then go for it! Good luck! Meanwhile you could check out UNLV For a culinary course.

Thats cool. I used to be a baker making wedding and birthday cakes.. If your going to vegas check out this school at http://www.creativecookingschool.com/def or the http://www.chefs.edu/las-vegas/ site. I think creative is a bit better.. You can call and ask for a brochure. Good Luck!

Stop wasting your time . . . go to black jack school and become a dealer @ the Hard Rock.

Through the Clark County School District there is a vocational school that involves cooking and baking, but you have to have a B average!

Cooking classes in Vegas? Why not take a stripping class instead? There are plenty of those and in the long run, might even help you get into a prestigious culinary school.
