How to go to the Golden Globes Ceremony (Red Carpet)? -

Is it there a way I can go to the golden globes ceremony red carpet? I m really lucky to be on L.A. on Jan.17 (date when the golden globes wil be held) What can I do to be there?

A limited number of bleacher seats set up in front of the Beverly Hilton Hotel for fans who want to catch a good glimpse of their favorite stars arriving on the red carpet before the show. However, there s a big catch. Unlike the Oscars, this seating isn t free. And they only sell bleacher tickets to hotel guests, as part of a hotel room/tickets package priced from $1,800 to $2,600 (with the $2,600 getting you seats in the front row of the bleachers). Apparently, there is no place (other than the bleachers) where people can just stand for free and watch the arrivals. So, your only option is to book a room at the Hilton - or forget about it.

good luck getting there ... you have a better chance of winning the super lotto.

Girl needs help---hotel question in houston texas? -

a family friend and his wife are coming over from the UK to houston for the holidays...i am 17 years of age and i was wondering if i wanted to go visit them at their hotel (by myself) would the hotel allow this?is there a certain age you have to be ---to be a GUEST in a hotel (without a guardian)

No, there is no certain age to be a guest. You can go visit with no problems.

If you want to visit them, that s just fine. Getting a room is a different story. You should have no problem. The thing to do is go to the front desk. Tell the desk clerk that you d like to call up to such-and-such s room (if you haven t already been given the room number). A desk clerk will NOT give out a room number to anyone. They ll give a phone number that will allow you to call them from a lobby phone. But, if you already know the room just walk into the hotel and go to that room.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

Never heard of such a rule. I was going into hotels to visit by myself at the age of eight.

they may ask for ID if its after hours. Its best to visit accompanied by an adult

not at all. walk in like you belong there and no one will question you.

Where are great places to go in New York, New York? -

Go visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, two landmarks of New York City. To get there by the ferry, you need to purchase round-trip ferry tickets at Castle Clinton National Monument in Lower Manhattan. Ferries from New York operate on a loop, stopping first at Liberty Island and then at Ellis Island before returning to Battery Park, New York.Directions to get the ferry dock:http://www.nps.gov/stli/planyourvisit/puGo visit the Empire State Building, one of the many landmarks of our city. It is located at 350 5th Avenue. To get there by MTA subway, take the 1, 2, or 3 (Seventh Avenue Lines), A, C or E (Eighth Avenue Subway) to 34th Street/Penn Station. Or take the B, D, F, N, Q, R or Path to 34th Street/Avenue of the Americas.Go walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, which is, if I m correct, which I might not be, is the oldest structure in the city. If not the oldest structure, the oldest bridge. To get there, and walk across it, take the 4, 5, or 6 to the Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall stop. Another option would be to take the J, M, or Z to Chambers Street.Go visit Coney Island, the home of the world famous Cyclone roller coaster. The amusement park will be closed, especially in the winter time, but the aquarium is open year-round, and sometimes the pier is open, so you can get some snacks -- they have fantastic corn dogs on the pier. To get there by train, take the D, Q N or F train to Stillwell Avenue, which is the last stop. This takes about 45 minutes from midtown Manhattan, and sometimes longer, depending on where you are coming from.Go for a ride on the Circle Line. There are numerous different cruises C one is the Full Island Cruise, which takes you around Manhattan on a three-hour cruise. The Semi-Circle Cruise sets sail on a two-hour cruise down the Hudson offering a stunning panoramic of the famed New York skyline and a close-up view of Lady Liberty. The Liberty Cruise turns 75-minutes into a quick and inspirational way to see New Yorks highlights from the water. There is also a Harbor Lights Evening Cruise, which allows you to view the hotspots of New York City from the water at night. Then, there is The Beast. Its a boat that travels at forty-five miles per hour down the river to the Statue of Liberty. Both cruises are fun and informational, and are a great way to kill some time if you dont have anything to do.Here is the Circle Line schedule:http://www.circleline42.com/site/schedulCircle Line special events:http://www.circleline42.com/site/browse.Go to visit some museums. There are so many, that listing directions to all of them would be a waste of your time and my time, so instead, I will give you a list where there is a list of all the museums of New York City. You can pick some that sound interesting, and then you can find directions to that place, either from the website, or from Google, simply by typing in directions to and insert the museum you would like to go to beside it. Your home. Serve cake. Give gifts. If you want to really go out there, take them to a movie.Worked for me when I was ten (in 1970).I don t understand the need to put on an ever increasing production every year to celebrate a kid s birthday. Is this some kind of competition?

Does Hawaii think about me as much as I think about Hawaii? -

I had so much fun. I want to go back already. It felt like being in a whole other country, like an asian country mostly! Why is the way that Hawaii is portrayed here in the mainland so very different than what it actually is? The people are very very nice, the women are so beautiful, and the prices on things aren t even that bad at all!

Hawaii totally dreams about you every night. :)

Hawaii doesn t think about you at all.

What do we do with a dog when visiting Universal Studios in LA? -

We re going during the winter and we re taking our dog with us. What should we do with him the day we re in the park?

Universal Studios Hollywood provides a complimentary Kennel Service for their park guests. Visit the Will Call window at the park entrance, and your pet will be escorted by one of their Guest Service Representatives to their facility. Maybe they ll train the dog to be a stunt dog, and put it in a movie. OK, just kidding.DON T leave the dog in the hotel. The dog won t like it, and may trash the room, and you will have to pay for it.

you can t bring him with you into the park, and I wouldn t leave him in the car; it might get hot out, and the many passerby could upset him. even though he ll be lonely, just leave him in his crate in the hotel room with water, food, and maybe a toy.

You may have to take him to a doggie hotel or kennel for the day if you bring your dog with you unless you trust he won t trash the hotel room...

Im looking for a hoilday inn in austin tx close to beodieamp;road 290.? -

I think you mean Brodie Lane. There is a Holiday Inn Express very close to that intersection:http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/ex/1/enThe nearest Holiday Inn would be the one on Town Lake - it s a pretty good distance from Brodie/290 but an easy drive. http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/1/en

Go to the Holiday Inn website and search for properties in/near Austin.
