Can a foreigner visiting the USA open a bank account? -

Next year I am visiting the United States for a couple of weeks. As a foreigner, am I able to open a bank account in the USA?

Yes you actually can. Bank of America, for instance, doesn t require an SSN when opening an account. All you have to do is show them a valid ID, which in your case would be your passport.

why would you need to open an account for just a couple of weeks, just transfer money from your current bank.

Go to the Beach!! It wont make you bored. Go to the wall in waikiki and jump off of it. Its really fun. you can also go on lots of hikes here. And if your looking for a hot guy im always here. ;) Lol.
