don t understand question
Seattle or Chicago???????????? -
I ve lived in both Chicago and Seattle, and currently live in Seattle. They are both great areas depending on your preferences for certain things.WEATHER - Chicago has 4 seasons and is FREEZING in the winter. Lots of snow, and I mean lots. Seattle gets snow for a few days each year, but it usually melts off in a few days at most. The weather is more temperate here so it never gets too cold or too hot. It rains from fall to spring - not nonstop but a lot. I actually prefer more moderate temperatures and hate shoveling snow so I like Seattle better from that standpoint. Most folks that like snow sports go to the mountains here for more snow. CITY LIFE - Chicago is better than Seattle for this. Seattle doesn t suck and does get performing arts and has museums, but the nightlife scene is kind of disappointing I would say. The museums are better in Chicago. The dining is more varied in Chicago. OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES - Seattle wins hands down. We have ocean, mountains, rivers - there really isn t anything you can t do outdoor-sy wise in the NW. It is very green and beautiful here - was a real shocker for me when I moved here from Chicago. PACE OF LIFE - It is slower in Seattle. When I first moved here and was walking down the sidewalk, I was frustrated lol. People move slower here, it s more relaxed. Chicago is very hustle bustle compared to Seattle. Actually west coast in general is more laid back than Chicago. It s really one s preference, but the slower pace grew on me so it doesn t bother me like it did when I first moved here. The up side of that is folks also aren t as concerned with certain things like they were in Chicago. I rarely see a 3-piece suit and briefcases here like I saw everywhere in Chicago. It s more casual here.Congrats on the 2 job offers!
I recently have been to Chicago. I loved it so much, that it is one of my favorite city s. It has amazing food. When i went the weather was very nice. But it is known as the windy city.I have never been to Seattle. However it does rain most of the year. If you like that it should be a nice place for you to live. Both citys have suburbs that you can live in, or you can live in the city. Both of the citys are very beautiful. I like to think of Chicago as a cleaner version of New York City.
Seattle. I ve been through Chicago a time or two and now live in Seattle. You will also be close to home than if you were in Chicago. Seattle has a great University with lots of housing available close by. It s not too cold, not warm at all, unless you are in the sun. Seattle also has a great view of the mountains and the Pugent Sound. It s absolutely beautiful!
why are people saying chicago hands down ??? personally i and many others i met think that chicago gets boring after awhile--in seattle you can go to the coast or to the to the mountains PLUS the city of seattle itself is huge and has plenty to offer on its own...chicago sucks by compariosn but it completey depends on your interests---if the mountains, skiing, ocean, etc isnt your thing than maybe seattle isnt for you
If you re looking for friends, a great cultural life, fantastic restaurants .... Chicago winds hands down. (I live in Seattle and the Seattle Freeze is a major reality, and while people read more books here, any other kind of culture is pathetic, including music (of any genre) and especially art.
I m a long long long time seattle native. If you can handle dark skies, or if your job requires travel, Seattle is great. The people are laid back. It s a good dog city. You won t get mugged, usually. I really love my city. It is going to be super expensive, though... maybe more like Boston.I ve never lived in Chicago. If you are from Northern Cali you will feel at home here.
It all depends on what you are looking for in your life beyond the job. Both are different cities in many ways. If you like the big city life, then probably Chicago is your thing. If you are more into sea, wild life, tech, travelling to Japan, China, SE Asia? Seattle might be better.
Chicago.Hands down. Chicago is a beautiful exciting city with so much to do.Seattle is pretty, but there s not as much going on.
Personally I like Seattle a lot more. There s an ocean to visit a lot more interesting nature wildlife.
Chicago

Is this a serious question? Chicago hands down.
Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in November ? -
It opens every day from sunrise to sunset. There are many activies you could do this. You could get copy of newsletter and events at Visitor Center. For East Pond, you need to have worn out shoes or boots because that section is very muddy.Take (A) to Broad Channel. From Broad Channel, walk west to Cross Bay Blvd and take Q53 heading to Woodside Station or Q21 toward Elmhurst.Make sure to tell Bus Operator you like to get off at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge because it s flag stop.
There will be lots to do. The summer is best if you plan on using the beaches or any number of water activities. November will be a bit brisk for that I think. There is still hiking available and that s good any time of year. Without knowing what you plan on actually doing there it s impossible to tell you how good or bad an idea it is. I say go and enjoy whats available. A day of brisk walking and fresh air is always a good day.
Chicago hotels near Riviera Theatre? -
The Aragon Arms is about 5 blocks away through uptown side streets...stay away at nighthttp://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=hThis place is closest but the evening walk could be eventful:http://www.yelp.com/biz/dolins-louis-chiThe Wilson (Men s) Hotel has one good review but the others are warnings:http://travel.yahoo.com/p-reviews-518194The Darlington Hotel has no reviews but from the looks of it I don t think the customers have a computer to make one:http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=hThe Riviera is about 2 short blocks from the Lawrence Ave CTA red line stop. Why not find a hotel in a better neighborhood and take the el to your venue? I only know of 2 people mugged at night on your route.
Look at hotels in Lincoln Park - because Uptown really gets rough at night. This looks nice from outside, and they have a parking lot nextdoor. http://travel.yahoo.com/p-hotel-349982-bIt s also easily accessable from the red line, so you could stay downtown and take the el. I actually take a cab there and the el or bus back. Depending if it s a weeknight or not; it s worth the cab back on a weeknight.
Spring Break in Miami, Florida?!? -
Miami is a blast for Spring Break. Check out hotels around Miami Beach for the best place to stay. Rather than give you a specific property name and location, I would suggest that you do some research on the available hotels, the prices and the locations. I have used justvr.com in the past and it was quite helpful for narrowing down my choices and booking a few nights stay.
How hard is it to drive from phoenix arizona to san diego in december ? -
All interstate as others have noted. Your only slow up factors are immigration stops at various points along the way. Depending on traffic volume and whether the officers are being especially thorough on the day you decide to travel, it can add a few minutes to the trip.
http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Phoenix+Its interstate 8-- which is paved ! Its in the desert at about 70 F degrees5 hours of nothing much.
Its a very easy drive. Don t worry you will enjoy the trip. Great weather that time of year too,not hot but not chilly.. A perfect time to make the trip .Good Luck !
It is not a dirt road! It s highway all the way, not a lot of traffic, boring but easy drive, 5-6 hours.
there are things now called highways. they are paved.
it s major highway the entire way...I-8 for the most part.
It s a dirt road.
