Will it snow in GA!!? -

This Saturday there is a chance of snow! Will it snow just south of Atlanta this Saturday? thx

Probably not. Especially in south Atlanta. If you were closer to the mountains of north Ga youmay see some flurries.Even if it does snow it will be light and won t stick to the ground. Daytime temps are too warm to allow it to gather on the ground.

I don t mean to burst your bubble, but probably not... If it does, it won t last for long. I m to the mountains two hours north of you and we ll barely get some. Good luck tho.. Maybe if you wish upon a star kid, you ll get lucky lol

There is a chance of FLURRIES....not snow. Meaning it may have some snowflakes but nothing substancial enough to cover the ground of anything. It rarley snows in GA anymore.

They are only forecasting it in North Georgia, above Atlanta. The forecast says late tonight early tomorrow morning.... like 2-3am. Will probably only be a few snowflakes floating in the air, not really any accumulation.

OMG SERIOUSLY???I didn t know!!!!!I CANNOT WAIT!!!!let it snow, let it snow!!!!

Saturday morning. That s what they say ... just in time for the Marietta House Tour. Rats!!!

i hope so because i don t want to go to school on monday

Living in Downtown Cincinnati Ohio? -

My husband and I are looking for an apartment. we really like the downtown Cincinnati area, we do have I guess just one major concern. Is it safe? I m getting mixed reviews some people say we wont be able to go out at night, other people say its not bad at all. What are your opinions? we are still young early to mid 20 s newlyweds, no kids. both of us grew up in the suburbs, but really like the feel of the city.. any info will be appreciated thanks!

My brother (single white gay male) has lived downtown for almost 20 years. He was mugged once about 12 years ago. I visit him frequently and we walk around downtown at all hours of the day or night, and I have never felt unsafe. Of course, there are parts where crime is more likely to occur, but if you use your head, stay out of alleys, don t buy drugs and stay aware of your surroundings, you are no more at risk in downtown Cincinnati than you would be in downtown Dayton, downtown Columbus, or downtown Cleveland. You will get a lot of mixed opinions on this subject, but I always ask one more question when someone wants to say how dangerous downtown is: when was the last time you were there? Opinions are worth more if they re based on personal experience, not hearsay. If you can find someone who lives downtown and thinks it s dangerous, then that s an opinion worth listening to. But if someone lives in the suburbs and hasn t set foot downtown in years, then their opinion is based merely on the media (which of course will hype up any crime in the slums of Over the Rhine) and not real experience.

Well I moved to Cincinnati from Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2006. Compared to Ann Arbor..Cincinnati is like.....detroit...not all of cincinnati..just downtown..i dont think you should move there.. i ve lived here for 3 years now and i d say you should move to a suburban area in the Greater Cincinnati Area such as Wyoming or Indian Hill or Mariemont...

How much is fasttrak for the bay bridge? Is it worth getting? -

So I got into the fasttrak lane by accident and now I have a ticket but I ve been toldtbat if I open a fasttrak that the violation will be dismissed

Your original deposit is about $70. Whenever your balance goes below $25, more is automatically added by charging your credit card. It s definitely worth it, if just for the joy of driving by all those long lines.http://www.bayareafastrak.org/dynamic/si

tonalc2 is right on the details for setting up the account. I would totally recommend getting it. It is so nice to not have to carry cash and you can go through any lane on any bridge in the area as well as any fastrak lanes in the entire state. I used it once in southern california a few years back.

My would like to take his kids to orlando florida? -

The childrens mom was a long time girlfriend and there is no legal custody given to either one. Can he take his children out of state for a one week vacation?

If neither one has legal custody, I would think so. You might want to ask in the Law section.

The legal custody is the mothers. Ask the mother if she has any objections to the children going away with the father for some quality time. If she says no, then have a blast. If she refuses then you may have to pursue some legal counsel. If she agrees to the children going out of state for vacation, then he will need a notarized note from the birth mother that gives him the right to take on vacation and if anything should happen (accidents) then he is allowed to authorize consent to treat. Hope it all works out for you all.

Actually, no. If they were never married then the mother has full legal custody of the children, the father has no legal rights at all at this point. The father has to seek legal counsel and take a paternity test if he wants any legal rights at all. At least that s the way it is in my state. It MAY be a different story if the mother and father are on good terms; she could ALLOW him to take the children to Orlando, but I m not sure what would happen if he got pulled over or something.

What is day to day life in Oregon, Washington (state), and Califorina like??What kind of foods are eaten, ect.? -

i need this for a report, I mainly need it for California, because one of my close relatives used to live in Washington and Oregon. Thanks!-Kai

CA is a very diverse state so answering what day to day life is like is tough. But, here s a shot...A 45- 50 minute commute through heavy traffic. Weather is sunny with highs in the upper 70s. Californians generally like variety so I would say that a typical day would include at least two different foods. There are many ethnicities with Hispanic being a major non-white group. There are also many asians and asian influences (food, etc.). So, perhaps you could say that a common day in CA might include sushi for lunch with a mexican style dinner... burrito with chips and salsa is popular. After work, some outdoor activity (yard work, beach, golf, hike or bike ride).
