Alabama.............................? -

Ever been? What s it like

I live here. It s ...........spacious

I ve visited Alabama on vacation and I enjoyed my trip. I visited the Birmingham area. There are many great attractions in Birmingham, including the Birmingham Zoo, Civil Rights Institute, Birmingham Botanical Gardens, and Vulcan Park (has the best view of the city). I went in the springtime, which was a good time to visit. Weather was perfect. It gets very hot and humid there in the summer. The people were very nice. They have plenty of southern hospitality.

yes. it was brown at the time.

PEOPLE IN THE HOUSTON AREAA:]? -

this might be a little wierd to some BUTTTT...i need to get away. seriously.like just be alone. somewhere peaceful,by myself. i ve never done this before but i really need to. i live in katy,TX...ssoooo....if u know of any places in this area,or just in houston PLEASE LET ME KNOW . i want to go at night. just like...somewhere quiet u know. maybe by a lake?? idk.thnx

George Bush Park is fairly close to Katy. It s also big enough to find a quiet spot. Otherwise, just go West on I10 to FM1458 and Stephen F Austin State Park is out there. A little more secluded too.

What is Vegas like Valentines weekend? -

Some girl friends and I want to go to Vegas and that is the only weekend that works for all of us...is it going to be just a bunch of couples?? I have never been to vegas so I dont know what to expect. Thanks!

I was in Vegas over Valentine s weekend and I didn t really notice too much difference. If you re planning on getting married or doing something romantic you might have problems getting reservations, but if you re going to just get out and have a good time, it shouldn t be too bad. The day of Valentines I went to LAX at the Luxor, Paris Hilton was their special guest, it was busy, but not overly crowded, I went back to LAX about a month later and couldn t move inside and they didn t have anyone special there... That s just an example. You really shouldn t have any problem getting into bars/nightclubs/typical restaurants and I doubt hotels will be too book (except for fantasy suites). I would say go for it, especially if that s the only time you girls are free!Hope this helps! Good luck and have fun!

Valentines day is a good time to visit Vegas. Like you said, there will be lots of couples and also lots of people getting married. But there are also lots of nice thing to do an see in Vegas. Here is more information on Valentines day in Vegas.http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/valentine

That is a very busy weekend here. Very popular weekend to get married and will be even more crowded as Valentines day falls on a Sunday. Here is a good webpage to read for helpful tips for first time visitors.
