What is the best days to go to disneyland in December?!? -

I m going to disneyland sometime from the 20th of December to the 2nd of January- iknoe its the holidays and it will be busy all around but what would be the slowest days of them all that I should go?! thanks!

Let me ask you this: Would you rather get hit by a train going 70 mph or 69 mph. Correct answer: It doesn t really matter, does it?Disneyland is REALLY crowded the last two weeks of the year. Monday, Tuesday, it doesn t matter. Traditionally, Tuesday and Wednesday are slower, but that really doesn t apply at this time.January 1 might be a bit less crowded, but that s like the 68 mph train mentioned above.

Christmas, every year theres a parade of lights of christmas, its beautiful.

on a school day, before winter break...the lines are only 10 minutes for the popular rides.

Any day that it is not raining hard. Drizzle weather is great - fewer crowds, short lines. mid week better than Fri or Sat.

Mickey s Very Merry Christmas!Just don t go on a weekend. A wednesday maybe.

any day that is not raining.

Weather wise... It doesn t matter in San francisco... *_~ So glad that you re considering San Francisco for your vacation.Try to stay in Union Square. http://www.unionsquareshop.com/ When you arrive at the airport, take the SFO air train that goes around the airport, then youll get off when you see Bart, take Bart to Powell Station (should be about $6-9 and it takes 20 mins ) thats Union Square. http://www.bart.gov/ for schedule..I just love the weather and the diverse culture here!! Traffic can be hectic but still bearable. Public transport is great! You can always take Bart, ferries, bus, taxi or cable car etc. However, if you dont have much time or want to travel beyond the city C I think a car would help a lot. Yes, you have to pay for parking, but save you time to go more places faster.. Try the City Sightseeing Open Top Bus Tour which is about $30. This unique open-topped bus tour of San Francisco includes four different routes, the Downtown Loop, the Golden Gate Loop, the Park Loop, and the Night Loop. You re free to hop on and off as often as you want on the downtown loop.Embarcadero is wicked nice, and it s not THAT far, so you could really just walk down it to the Ferry Building. http://www.ferrybuildingmarketplace.com/ On Saturdays they do a nice farmer s market and you can get lots of good stuff. There s plenty to do in San Francisco any time of year. Some great attractions are Alcatraz, Chinatown (visit the Fortune Cookie Factory), Golden Gate Park (head to the S.F. Botanical Gardens and Buffalo Paddock), Cable Car Museum, The San Francisco Zoo, Coit Tower, Fisherman s Wharf, Pier 39, The Embarcadero, ride down the crookedest street in the world (Lombard St), drive across the Golden Gate Bridge. Also, visit Muir Woods just north of the city. It s very scenic and a beautiful nature walk.

Golly, downtown SF during the holidays is a really beautiful place. All those elaborate shop windows. They really do an incredible job at some of those swanky retail stores. Union Square is the logical center for this sort of thing.I d also check into special events at Grace Cathedral. There are organ concerts and often these are staged with elaborate decorations and sometimes with performers (dancers possibly). Some are free admission. I have included the link to Grace s events calendar below. By the way, Grace is a really beautiful place to visit even when there is no service or concert going on. The interior of this neo-Gothic building is spirit-lifting, a wonderful inspiration for anyone who has a heart of gold. Also, Chinatown will all its color and exotic stores, would be a fantastic place to look for inexpensive gifts. And for that matter, so would Japantown (which is west of downtown off Geary Street near Fillmore).
