What is the best small town to live in, in the US? -

I am looking for a place to move with my family. Small town or rural. Low crime rate. Good weather (no tornadoes, no hurricanes, not too hot, not too cold or short winter). Reasonable cost of living. Safe place for children.

I m sure there are tons...one that I know about is Round Rock, Texas...Goggle it, you ll find many good things about it...there are lots of job opportunities, safety, reasonable prices, and alot of friendly people

the towns of Quitman, Alba, Emory, and Yantis, Texas. However, I don t know how you are going to avoid the chance of tornadoes anywhere. Check with your Witness Protection Agency Officer, and just go with his suggestion.

Woodbury Mnnesota...

Edison, NJ

Catalina Island

It depends on what you re looking for, but my favorite small towns are in New England!

Keller, Texas

Holmesville, OH

WHY O WHY? Is McDonalds @ 51st and Broadway in NYC charging 41 cents more for coffee on Thanksgiving Day? -

What a McDonalds rip-off today! Coffee that we buy everyday for $1.09, Suddenly on Thanksgiving Day goes up 41 cents! I guess because of the Parade and all the tourist s here, they want to Take-Take instead of Give-Give. BE ASHAMED to the Owners and Management @ this location!

I d be very surprised if you could buy McDonald s coffee at that location ever for $1.09. Everything is always more expensive in Manhattan and even more so in Times Square.

SUPPLY AND DEMAND! The more people, the more the price goes up! Besides, everything in NYC is expensive! Especially around the holidays!

Be thankful!!! I just got back from my McDonalds and they are closed for Thanksgiving Day. I would GLADLY pay an extra 41 cents for coffee!!

You actually drink McDonalds coffee?

LOL because they had to work on thanksgiving at Macdonald out of all places !

They probably give it for donations. But I m not really sure.

Because they can do it and get away with it.

What is there to do on a day trip to Atlantic City? -

I m thinking about taking a bus trip to Atlantic City, New Jersey, but I m wondering what there is to do there. Can anyone recommend any sites, hotels, casinos, restaurants, etc that are worth seeing?

If you ve never been to AC, you might want to consider taking a jitney from the Boardwalk over to the Marina section. You can see the Borgata and Harrah s (two very nice properties). There s a pathway that runs between them, it s about a 15-20 minute walk along the water. What sort of restaurants do you like? The two casinos I listed have lots of food options, from buffets to gourmet steakhouses.

There are the outlets a few blocks inland from Bally s. There is shopping at the Pier at Caesars. There is the Absecon Lighthouse.By this point in the year, most of the boardwalk shops and restaurants have closed for the year. The casinos will be the primary attraction. I am partial to Caesars and Showboat, but all have their points.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
