When is the best time after thanksgiving to drive from CT to Houston TX.? -

How long can you wait and how much time can you spend on the trip down? In other words when do you have/need/want to be in Houston? If soon, depart very, very early on Friday 11/27 before the traffic gets heavy around the Tri-State area (NY-CT-NJ). Lots of people leave for home later on Friday morning and afternoon after spending Thanksgiving at Grandma s house. If you can t leave that early, wait until Saturday 11/28. Traffic isn t bad on the Saturday after Thanksgiving...but gets heavy again on Sunday afternoon so avoid crowded metropolitan areas on your way on Sunday afternoon 11/29.

the traffic is thicker on the weekends so I would say a tuesday or wednesday would be the best day to comewhenever you do decide, have a safe trip!

It depends on what you have experience in...?Always check craigslist.org as that is the most popular place for job postings of all kinds (that s how I got my job).In the service industry, you can go to any major corporate hotel website where you can apply for a wide variety of jobs that always have openings (restaurant server, hotel front desk, housekeeping, hospitality etc.) OR you can just walk into many places and ask to fill out a application. Some places don t advertise their help wanted and rely on walk-in applicants. A great place to fill out a ton of applications in one place and have a variety of choices/options is Ala Moana Mall.
